If Primark had an online store... well that would be a whole different story and I am pretty sure I would be forced to shop with them online for at least twice a week if not once a week! Since i stumbled across Amazon i haven't brought a book in a shop, as whether you but it new from Amazon/a seller, or used it is so much cheaper. The penguin classic range is usually around £1.50, but on Amazon you can buy them brand new for only 1p, it's brilliant. I would reccomend buying books, CD's etc from the used and new selection as you can get some really good deals. You might be apprehensive about buying a used book online that you haven't seen before but there is nothing to worry about. ...I've been a big fan of online shopping for a long time now. I have bought many books, CD's, software and hardware online. Last year I branched out further and bought most of my Christmas presents online. I hate schlepping round an overcrowded shopping center, especially when it is full of out of control children as so often seems to be the case. Online shopping frees me from this nightmare and I also find bargains galore to be had. ~~~ Delivery Checks ~~~ Before buying things online I do check which postal carrier is used. One of the biggest hassles with online shopping can be receiving your goods as if you are working all day then you can't take the delivery. ...I bought a TV from BT Shop online and this is the most appalling service I've ever had from any online shops. On their website, they say that standard delivery is 1-3 working days from the date of your order and they won't charge your card until they deliver. They charged my card on the day of transaction. Yesterday was the 5th working day since the date of my order and we still haven't had our TV delivered, which would only be half the trouble if you could actually call someone and ask them what's going on. Not with BT Shop. The only customer service they offer is Online Live Chat. They say it takes them about 11 minutes to answer your query. I spoke to their online chat reps at least 3 times and on each occasion waited over 30 minutes, with 2 out of 3 times being a wait over 2 hours. The other option you have is to email them...
