Crowne Plaza deserves another Crown

Advantages: 4 Star hotel, Situated in good location, Friendly staff, Beautiful hotel, Good hotel facilities
Disadvantages: Expensive

...a nice feel to them you can feel the build quality in the rooms the beds are comfortable the desk is made from oak tree they look and feel great. One thing that I usually find with hotel room bathrooms is that they are small and in fact too small I feel like I don?t have enough space to stand in them and that it cannot be comfortable. However the bathrooms in the Crowne Plaza are perfect they just look beautiful and posh. I had enough space to stand around; I had space to put my clothes and enough room to shave without banging into the mirror I guess you can get my point. Victoria Park Plaza Hotel, London It's More Than A Hotel!

Advantages: Pleasant Staff, Good Customer Service, Nice Breakfast

...The Victoria Park Plaza in London is an amazing hotel that has very comfortable, quality rooms and staff who are friendly and professional. The best thing about The Victoria Park Plaza is that it is in a prime position just two minutes from Victoria Station and an easy walk to some of London's main attractions. I found it perfect for shopping and buying souvenirs. There were also quite a number of restaurants close by and my mum who cannot walk far didn't complain once. Although we ate at the hotel we also sampled London's China Town. It is a four star hotel and lives up to the standard. It is situated close to Buckingham Palace, Harrods, Westminster Abbey and Houses of Parliament. ...The first grumpy free break for some years, he was rock bothering in Italy (environmental stuff) so where could we go? After debating and a bottle of wine we decided to try Prague and checked on the Best Western site to see what delights and bargains they had to offer. For those of you that read my reviews you will notice that we tend to use B.W a lot and there is good reason for doing so. Firstly they are all different, some quirky, some modern, big and small and secondly I can book them all through central reservations, I can easily change hotels, nights and add rooms etc, nothing seems too much trouble. Princess at the Plaza

Disadvantages: Poor car-parking, a little on the expensive side (but worth it!)

Price: £300 (inc. full breakfast) Situation: The Plaza is situated in the centre of Cardiff, just one street away from the main shops and 3-5 minute walk from the main clubs and pubs. When driving to the hotel, I found it easily accessible but was a little disappointed that the car park was not attached to the hotel. It wasn't very dignified having to haul my suitcase across the main road! Plus, car parking was charged at an extra discounted rate. Plaza The Shopping center

Advantages: Busy Location, Many Branded shops around
Disadvantages: Sometimes could be expensive

...and doing all of sorts of erobic, weight lifting running and etc. Around Plaza there are several famous Hotels one of which is Ritz, I normally try to take a look inside from the 2nd floor, really nice and expensive place. At night Oxford Street is packed full of people still shopping, and there are lights all around the streets, sometimes it reminds of Batman, that's because of the long beam they use, you can see it in the sky. -----------Over all-------------- Over all I think it is a wonderful place, for all the shopoholics, it's a must go place, plenty to look at, and once tired you can always enjoy they snacks on the 2nd floor. Prices are reasonable, but again it depends on what you are looking at. A word of advice, have a look at the toy shop, you would fall in love with it....

Riverbank Park Plaza - hotel is cheap and convenient for West End

Disadvantages: Rooms not ready, facilities that didn't work, requests that got lost, wrong keys for room

...The Riverbank Park Plaza is a mid-price four-star hotel located on London's Embankment, about 10 minutes walk (with heavy suitcase) from Vauxhall and 20 minutes from Waterloo. It is a comfortable hotel with plenty of lifts, which are definitely needed if you find yourself on the seventh floor. This is not a cheap part of the world to be staying in, and the prices here reflect that. However, if you book ages in advance, then you may be lucky like we were and find a special deal. We went here in July 2009 and the rooms cost about £80 per night. To get this deal, we booked several months in advance and found a special offer which was valid if we booked two consecutive nights. According to their website, the current discounted price is about £110 per night. The hotel itself had many facilities; sadly we did not have time to appreciate...

A comfortable night at the Plaza

Advantages: Comfortable bed, nice modern room, good location, close to airport transport
Disadvantages: No safe in the room, the automatic mini bar, crowded breakfast area

...on the 34th or 35th floor and there is also a bar on top where you get a nice view. I think there is also wireless internet connection available put I didn't bring my laptop so I didn't get to try it out. I said that the location was quite good if you are arriving on the airport express train. But the location of the hotel compared to Oslo itself is not bad either. There is a "subway" station near by so that you can take the trams to e.g. Vigeland park area. It is also located right next to Oslo Spektrum where many of the concerts are held in Oslo. And if you just want to walk it only takes a couple of minutes to get to Oslo City (the shopping mall) and about 5 minutes to get to Karl Johans Gate?the main street of Oslo. Park Plaza - a peaceful night of luxury

...hope of getting a high hotel room so we could see the view of Leeds. We were not at all disappointed. We arrived at the hotel at about 9-10pm and the only let down about the appearance of the hotel is the entrance. As I pointed out, there are a few restaurants and bars downstairs so the only entrance to the hotel is up a side alley, almost a goods entrance for the Leeds Shopping Plaza next door, This can be overlooked as it is simply only the entrance, they have done the best they can do with the location they have. Reception staff were friendly, the reception is very snazzy, with a The Sims inspired disco floor as a wall behind the reception. Plaza Regency Hotel in Sliema in central position

Advantages: Easy access to public transport and sea front promenade
Disadvantages: cramped and slow lifts

...The Plaza Regency hotel, Sliema is situated at 251 Tower Road, or as the local street signs put it Triq it-Torri. It is seperated from its sister hotel The Plaza, by a road Triq San Frangisk. The two hotel are connected together by a bridge six floors above the street. This sounds weird but works quite well. The two hotels share a dining room which is on the sixth floor of the Plaza, and share a swimming pool which is on the roof (seventh floor) of the Plaza Regency. Both hotels have several steps to climb to get from street level to Reception and in my opinion would be awkward for someone of limited mobility. Once inside, the reception area is spacious and has arm chairs and a TV. The staff here speak good English and are helpful. Both hotels have lifts which are in my opinion both slow and cramped.
