Great for short thin hair

Advantages: Heat very quickly
Disadvantages: Unable to cope with my thick hair

...I bought these recently as I cannot live without my older larger plated GHD's and thought that these would be a handy alternative. They do heat in under 3 seconds and have the same excellent ceramic plates as the larger version, however I found them very time consuming. I have very thick hair about shoulder length and unlike their larger cousins they were unable to straighten as effectively . On saying that they were brilliant on my fringe. I would recommend these to anyone with shorter or thin hair. A fashion conscientious male friend of mine used these and loved them and were perfect for his short hair. I would recommend using the straightening oil with these as they are very hot and I did find a few burnt strands of hair ....

...After having very short and spiky hair for most of my teens and early 20's, I decided earlier this year that I need a change and decided to grow my hair. When it got to a certain length, I purchased a pair of £20 straighteners from a supermarket. Being the 'typical' man, I decided that straighteners were straighteners, and I was not going to pay over the odds for a product that would no doubt do the job just as well. Good Hair Day? Definitely!

...I've had these hair straighteners for roughly six months now and have used them probably every day since I was given them, so I feel fairly qualified to give my opinion: that I really can't recommend them highly enough!! The quality of GHDs is unbeatable - I've used a lot of hair straighteners in my time, and I've got to say that they really do give consistently good results. They heat up in roughly fifteen seconds, and you can straighten hair very quickly in a rush with a fairly good finish - which as you can imagine saves huge amounts of time in the mornings! Generally, unless your hair is remarkably stubborn, the hair will also stay straight for the duration of the day. It's also worth noting that they're pretty versatile, and as my hairdresser demonstrated a few days ago, it's quite easy to get nice curls using these hair...

...of and my sister recently purchased a BNIB pair from Ebay for around £60, so if the colour doesn't mean too much for you then you're better just opting for the original black pair. GHD also have a mini styler aimed for doing short hair or boys' hair and in this metro sexual age, many of my male friends swear by them. GHDs are a long term fashion investment which I think are a necessity for those who love looked well groomed and take pride in their appearance and I am pleased that I paid every penny I did for my straightners - I can't live without them!...

...Boots Short Hair Roll On Wax retails at £6-99 and consists of one roll on applicator filled with wax that can be warmed up in the microwave or with warm water on the stove. Ten strips, 2 moisturising finishing wipes, instruction leaflet. Each strip can be used up to five times and the instructions are very clear to how to apply and use the wax, with all precautions outlined. There are illustrations to also help one know how to use the wax safely and effectively I find that this wax really does work on short hair, it gets rid f them quickly and effectively with long lasting results. The better you get at waxing I have found the less painful it is. The finishing wipes are pleasant, and have enough moisture n them to go up and down and all around on my legs. ...These straighteners are the best hair straighteners I have ever used, they heat up in about 10 seconds, beep when they're ready to use and then if you forget to turn them off they switch themselves off which is great if you're like me and have often come home to find my bed covers completely singed. They're very hot which although on the one hand is good because they work really well for every type of hairstyle you can ever want to do, straighten, curl, volumise etc. However, if you don't use a comb when straightening your hair you can quite often burn your fingers on your hair. GHD really do offer quality products as a general rule and I would never use any other straighteners. This is my 3rd pair of GHD's so really I have no complaints, however, my hot pink straighteners have had to be sent back to GHD on 2 different occasions...

After a little while, I couldn't smell the fragrance anymore, but my hair stayed looking good for a good 4 hours, certainly long enough to enjoy my lunch . You can reapply this if your hair falls flat, and I imagine having a can of this in your handbag on a night out would be a good idea . The packaging is an aerosol can with bright green, orange, and yellow colours - it looks tropical, and stands out on the shelf easily . I paid about 1.89 for my 150ml can from the chemist, although I have seen it on the shelves in supermarkets, so it does seem to be pretty widely available . Thanks to this product I was able to go out for lunch at short notice without spending the whole time worrying about my hair looking horrible . It doesn't actually clean your hair, so is not a replacement...

GHD hot pink kiss hair stylers.. well worth every kiss!!

I have got the Limited edition IV Kiss ones and although the price is what seems redicuoulsly high at £135 they are worth every penny! I`ve had so many hair straightners in the past, cheep ones because i didnt want to spend that amount, i am now glad i did at last splash out on these!! They come in a box, roughly the size of a shoe box, in one side is the GHD stylers and on the side that lifts open there is a packet of 3 GHD lipglosses in a small little box which are also fabulous. There is an instruction manual and a book containing a list of all the other products available by the GHD company.
