Can Langdon find the Lost Symbol?

...The Lost Symbol is the latest offering from Dan Brown featuring Harvard Symbologist Robert Langdon and like all avid readers of his work I was looking forward to reading the book. At 6am on a Sunday morning Robert Langdon receives a message from his mentor and friend, prominent 33rd Degree Mason Peter Solomon, to conduct a lecture in Washington?s Capitol Building and not wanting to let his friend down Langdon agrees to go and sets off for the airport where Peter?s private jet is waiting for him. However on arrival at the Rotunda area within the Capitol Building, something strikes Langdon as odd, there is nobody waiting there for the lecture. Believing he is in the wrong building Langdon is set to walk about but is interrupted by a commotion, on looking on what the problem is, it seems that somebody has left a strategically placed...

The Lost Symbol by Dan Brown- Ancient Mysteries

Advantages: A good read
Disadvantages: Part of the plot is not too convicing

.... Personally, it gives me a good reflection for my faith. And finally, even though there are a few issues with the book, overall it is still a good read. For those who are new to Dan Brown, I would not recommend to read it straight away as it may end up being different from your expectation. Reading other of his books will get you used to his style of writing. Then you can proceed with the Lost Symbol, which I think is slightly different to his other works....

Indeed, it does exactly what it says on the tin - dog's and people from around the world, it's the greatest as there's no substitute for the luxurious green carpet, it has dogs and it's a show. The Best Show on Channel Five!

Advantages: Keeps you up to date, good presenters, fun
Disadvantages: Seems to be a lot of adverts?

...The Gadget Show is one of my favourite shows now and after a long boring Monday having to start a new week I look forward to watching the programme. It is definitely my favourite programme on Channel 5 (not hard really!) The show is about new gadgets and technology and is very interesting as there is nearly some new, innovative piece of technology and this show helps you keep up to date and it also shows older technology. The stuff they look at includes things like games consoles, cameras, vacuum cleaners, phones, remote control cars, music players, TVs, robots, ebooks, photo frames, lawnmowers, toasters and many others! The Puppet Show

Advantages: Follows the Balamory TV show
Disadvantages: None

...The Puppet Show is a great book which has been written based on the children's television series Balamory. The front cover of the book is a nice bright pink colour with a picture of Archie and a robot and he name Balamory above this in nice bright coloured letters and below the picture is the name of the book in blue bubble letters. At the top of the cover there is a picture showing some of the houses in the Balamory town. The back cover of the book is also bright pink and has a square in the middle which is a slightly different pink colour and has lots of balloons at the top and a description of the story below these. The book is a paperback edition but the cover is made of very strong shiny card which does make is a bit stronger and less easy to rip.
