...Hugo Boss ~ Energise ~ Shower Gel I bought my husband a Hugo Boss Energise gift set for his Christmas, he has a few Hugo Boss fragrances and he likes the smell of them as do I. Inside the gift set there was a bottle of Energise Eau De Toilette, a tube of shower gel and shaving balm. The gift set wasn't that expensive and only cost me £30 for all three items; when I'm buying perfumes I tend to always buy gift sets because they are better value for money. The Hugo Boss Energise shower gel can also be bought on its own from most department stores if you don't want to buy a gift set. A very average Lush shower gel

Advantages: smells OK, lathers well, gets skin clean
Disadvantages: nothing special about it, a little pricier than others

...I tend to have a few bottles of shower gel on the go at once - one to suit every mood! I noticed that a lot of my Lush shower gels are approaching their use-by dates, and as such have been using them regularly over the past few weeks to make sure I use them up on time! Having got to the end of all of the others, I was left with half a bottle of The Olive Branch. When it came to picking a shower gel, nine times out of ten The Olive Branch would be near the bottom of the list. Homme gift set which he received consisted of a bottle of Joop! Homme eau de toilette, a tube of shower gel and a tube of shaving balm. A shower gel for the wealthy

They are a very expensive luxury and for every day use I would use a much, much cheaper alternative that would satisfy my needs just as well. Scrummy Yummy.... Strawberry Shower Gel

Advantages: Smells good enough to eat and leaves skin feeling soft and cleansed.
Disadvantages: You can't eat it!

...I just love The Body Shop's strawberry shower gel! This reasonably priced shower gel (£5.85 for 250ml) is a God send. You only need put an 'almond sized' amount of the gel onto a bath lily to produced a rich foamy lather. The lather lasts too and doesn't disappear after a few seconds. It glides onto skin with ease and has the most wondeful strawberry scent, which smells almost good enough to eat (for health and safety reasons I must point out that eating shower gel is not advised!). After showering with this product my skin always feels soft and smooth and smells absolutely yummy. As I have previously said a little goes a long way and therefore really is good value for money. ...I really like the Ghost Bath and Shower Gel. I got given this as a present, because when it comes to shower gel I usually buy the reasonably cheap stuff so it is quite nice to have an expensive one to try and use! I had the Ghost perfume so it was lovely to get the bath and shower gel to match it. The smell of this is absolutely lovely. It is not a heavy smell but quite light with the smells of jasmine, hibiscus, rose petals, spicy sandalwood, vanilla, musk, frankincense, apricots and ambergris (sounds like lots and lots of different smells but they really go well together!) The size of the tube is 200ml. I haven't actually seen this product in the 200ml size that I have in any shops. I have seen it in a gift set with the perfume and body lotion but that is in a smaller size of 50ml and it is not sold individually. I couldn't find...

Lacoste Inspiration is quite a light fresh and airy smelling perfume and some people may find that the scent of the perfume doesn't last long on their skin, especially if they have dry or oily skin types. ...For Christmas my sister got me a set of Nina by Nina Ricci products, including the perfume, shower gel and body lotion. I absolutely adore the scent of the perfume and have been wearing it regularly, but due to my mountain of bath products, it's only been in the last few weeks that I have had the chance to try out the matching shower gel. Nina, if you're not familiar, is a perfume by Nina Ricci, which comes in a red, apple-shaped bottle. It's an incredibly sweet and feminine scent, and I was really looking forward to trying out the matching shower gel. The shower gel comes in a white tube, which has a picture of a red apple, with shiny silver leaves, just like the perfume bottle itself. There's not a lot of information on the tube, but I wonder if that's because mine was received as part of a gift set, rather than bought...

...I was buying some Natural Collection bubble bath a while ago, when I noticed there was a 'buy one get one free' offer on the natural collection range. As my 'free' item, I chose the strawberry shower gel, as the bright red colour dotted with black grains appealed to me. My first problem started before I had even used the shower gel, as the bottle leaked and covered everything else in the carrier bag in a red, sticky gel, ruining most of it. Surprisingly, as this is a shower gel, it is actually quite difficult to wash off! Packaging It comes in a clear, squeezy bottle, through which the bright red shower gel can be seen. The gel also contains small black seed like things, which make it look like a strawberry, however no-where on the bottle does it tell you what these grains are.
