Having looked closer at the ingredients though, there seems to be many more chemicals than most of their passion fruit range which I think is because it is a shower gel as opposed to a lip butter of body scrub as it needs to cleanse your body. The smell of this passion fruit is fabulous. The passion fruit range is usually suitable for normal/dry skin, however the shower gel doesn't state which skin type it is suitable for, so I assume it is okay for most skin types. *The packaging* The only other downside to this product is the packaging. Scrummy Yummy.... Strawberry Shower Gel

Advantages: Smells good enough to eat and leaves skin feeling soft and cleansed.
Disadvantages: You can't eat it!

...I just love The Body Shop's strawberry shower gel! This reasonably priced shower gel (£5.85 for 250ml) is a God send. You only need put an 'almond sized' amount of the gel onto a bath lily to produced a rich foamy lather. The lather lasts too and doesn't disappear after a few seconds. It glides onto skin with ease and has the most wondeful strawberry scent, which smells almost good enough to eat (for health and safety reasons I must point out that eating shower gel is not advised!). After showering with this product my skin always feels soft and smooth and smells absolutely yummy. As I have previously said a little goes a long way and therefore really is good value for money. ENERGISING SHOWER GEL!

Advantages: smells nice, layers and compliments the scent of the perfume
Disadvantages: none really, slihtly expensive for some

...that you don't really get much of a lather and you have to use a lot more of it. If you apply the shower gel using a sponge you will only have to use a small blob the size of a 20 pence piece in order to get fully washed with. After you have bathed using this shower gel you will notice that your skin feels a little softer than before and of course it will smell highly fragranced. The fragrance from the body wash is gorgeous and most definitely masculine, it smells really similar to the perfume/aftershave. The fragrance which this shower gel leaves on your skin is fairly long lasting, you should still notice the fragrance lingering on your skin a few hours after you have bathed/showered. The scent which the shower gel leaves on your skin is quite strong although its not overpowering and wont mask any deodorants you choose to wear...

An unexpectedly good Body Scrub from the Sanctuary

Advantages: a very effective, invigorating exfoliator
Disadvantages: might irritate sensitive skin

...'ve gone for a grittier body scrub than the Mande Lular one but, the first time I tested this one (on one side of my leg) I thought it really did seem to make my skin feel smooth, soft and definitely exfoliated. If I wanted to economise and use a body scrub alone, rather than a separate shower gel/cream and body exfoliator, I would definitely consider this. There are two sizes of this product available - a 50ml travel sized one that costs £2.29 on the Sanctuary's website (or £2.20 at Boots) and a 200ml version priced at £4.99....

Homme gift set which he received consisted of a bottle of Joop! Homme eau de toilette, a tube of shower gel and a tube of shaving balm. The gift set wasn't really expensive and only cost about £28-30 for all three items, which is really good value for money considering a 75ml bottle of Joop! Homme eau de toilette costs £30. Most of the time when I am buying a perfume for myself or my husband I always tend to purchase the git set because you get more for your money and you also get the bath and body products which compliment and layer the scent of the perfume. A very average Lush shower gel

Disadvantages: nothing special about it, a little pricier than others

...I tend to have a few bottles of shower gel on the go at once - one to suit every mood! I noticed that a lot of my Lush shower gels are approaching their use-by dates, and as such have been using them regularly over the past few weeks to make sure I use them up on time! Having got to the end of all of the others, I was left with half a bottle of The Olive Branch. When it came to picking a shower gel, nine times out of ten The Olive Branch would be near the bottom of the list. I don't know what it is about this product, because it's nice enough - as I will describe if you read on - but I suppose it just lacks the 'wow factor' I've had from some of the other Lush shower gels I've used, such as Slammer and Snow Fairy. Body Scrub

Advantages: Leaves the skin looking and feeling great!!!
Disadvantages: This particular brand is only sold in Body shop and does not come in a larger container than 50ml

...I have spent a long time looking for a body scrub that will not only smell nice, exfoliate properly but leave the skin with a smooth fresh feeling, I recently bought Coconut Body Scrub from The Body Shop expecting it to be as un-satisfying as the other products that I have tested. Yet to my suprise this product really left my skin feeling revitilised and clean. The product left a long lasting frangrance and a radiant glow to my skin and unlike other products was very satisfying to use. I find that with body scrubs the small particles scratch the skin and can be very uncomfortable but this product was extremely smooth. It cost a very reasonable £3.50 for a 50ml tub which suprisingly lasted a while, there was also a variety of products to compliment this one. This is a product that I will be using again....

It is a shower gel for men, although i'm sure women could use it too. **Packaging** The packaging is very old fashioned and has not been updated in quite a while. and while most of their other products have the new logo on it, this one doesn't. It comes in a white tube with a black lid. It has the words Activist Shower Gel on the front in black writing. Clarins Body Scrub - Sheer Luxury

Advantages: Gives a good level of exfoliation
Disadvantages: Price, very expensive

...nice, a clean fresh smell which is not at all overpowering. I think if you needed to deeply exfoliate your skin before applying a fake tan this product would be excellent! Now to the bad bits. The price is obviously a major factor, as a regular body scrub I think this is just to expensive for most people, I don't think that I will buy this item again just for this very reason not unless I can get another from the discount shop I got it from before that is of course! The only other complaint I have is that this does cause a residue in the bath, now again whether this is because it is a product which is best used in the shower so the grains can wash away while you use it and isn't really designed for use in the bath I don't know. As I don't have a shower I haven't been able to test this theory either. (note to self when I move in...
