The LG Cookie KP500 is a good quality, touchscreen mobile

Advantages: Very good value for money, good build quality, good touchscreen, decent (3mp) camera
Disadvantages: Battery life (and meter) is not very good, camera does not have flash, limited games and apps

...I have had this mobile for about 7 months so far. It has been (one of the) best mobiles I have bought. It was very good value for money and the build quality is very good (although for some reason the pink version is more 'plasticky' than the black one). The features on the mobile are what you would expect on a mobile in the price range of the KP500; not too bad but could do with more applications and games. I have however had to send it back once for repair because of a software problem; whenever I went to the music player the mobile froze. This was solved by a firmware update. The 3 inch (not too big, not too small) touchscreen is also very good for what it cost; it is responsive but not as good as the iPhone. Another problem is the battery life. Vango Venture 500

Advantages: Good Size, Brilliant Value, High Quality, Sturdy, Easy to Erect
Disadvantages: None that I can think of!

...I purchased my Vango Venture 500 towards the end of 2006. For the bargain price of £85.00 and I haven't looked back since! Numourus camping trips have bee happily spent in this tent and it will see many more! The frame consists of 2 large poles crossing over to make the main dome, and a 3rd smaller pole creating a loop for the porch area. Once erect, with all pegs and guide ropes in place the tent is extremely strong and stable. We have camped in strong winds and strong rain and it has stood strong throughout. As long as there are two of you, erecting the tent is a swift and easy process. Funnily enough you tend to erect it faster when its raining! And packing it back into the bag is an art the first time but you tend to remember how to do it from then onwards and it's easy enough. When packaged, the tent is relatively heavy...

...I will have owned my 1998 Rover 214 Si for three weeks on Monday, and so far i have been loving it. I came accross it while trawling around second hand car garages looking for a 1.4 Ford Escort Osprey to replace my Fiesta Sapphire, which as it happens required a new engine. The brooklands green paint linked with a beige paisley patterned interior was a nice combination, if a little old manny. The curvy, rounded lines looked tidy, with the chrome grill and trim strips being nice details. Throw in the standard smoked rear light lenses, the discrete rear spoiler and deep front air scoop under the number plate and you've got a smart and sophisticated wee car. Advantages: Cheap, value for money, decent but not outstanding gameplay

After looking at many examples I eventually found this one and bought it in 2000. The car was in great condition having covered 68000 miles from new. Everything was right about the car, no rust, a full dealer history, a recent service and an enthusiatic owner. This review is for anyone considering buying an older car. It can be a great joy and relatively cheap but only if you're careful on day one. This model of Mercedes, known as the r107, was one of the most prestigous car of it's time. Advantages: Nice handset, especially in Vader black, loaded with everything currently available
Disadvantages: A little too big(?), incompatiable with BMW bluetooth car kit, charging cap / cover

...music etc will eat away the battery life, but if used sensibly you could achieve a standby time of over a week and actual useful talktime of several hours. Charging time - takes next to no time for a full charge. Build quality of the phone is excellent, nice smooth sliding mechanism, solid build, only problem I had with the phone was the plastic cap for the charging plug, it has a nice sliding cap for the "add on" speaker why not for the charging point on the base of the phone - *doh*. Just a word of note, the phone is a pain with the OEM BMW bluetooth car kit, it refuses to transfer the phone book and fails to "ring" - an issue I think is more with the BMW car kit then the phone. Unfortunately this was the primary reason I needed the phone, as a result my lucky sister has inherited my sim free D500, with me landing a old (yet BMW...
