...I wrote this review yonks ago thought I would find it out as last night we watched a tv prog about Pionk floyd Dark side of moon and it brought nback all those magic adolescent moments for me , This record is certanly magic to listen too we have it on cd now. Saturday Morning I was dusting and came across these large round black discs that have a groove running around the it and a hole in the middle. It was encased in a matt black cardboard sleeve , with a white line of light entering it from one edge entering a triangle in the centre front changing to a rainbow of colours going from the other side of the triangle you’ve got it, it was a record I have stacks do not listen too them that often these days use c d’s .I came across this one that I have not listened since I don’t know when so I have put it...

Silver side up, Nickelback side down

Advantages: Great riffs, vocals
Disadvantages: Not followed up well

...**Introduction** I'm sure all of you have at least one cd in your collection from an artist you really only like that album from them. One such band that I feel this way about Is Nickelback. Although I do like some of their other stuff there is not enough consistency on any of their other albums for me to buy any other Nickelback albums. Feel the Dark Side!

Advantages: A good and tasty Mild Ale from a great brewery.
Disadvantages: May not find it everywhere.

...We are quite fortunate to have quite a few local breweries near to us is Chesterfield. One of these local beer producers is Spire Brewery. They have a brewery tap (a pub that is tied to them and serves their beer) in New Tupton, not far from Chesterfield, called the Britannia. A walk on the West Side

Advantages: Fantastic dance scenes.
Disadvantages: Some of the music

...~~ WEST SIDE STORY ~~ I would like to say this is a modern day Romeo and Juliet and I suppose it is, if you think back to when Shakespeare wrote Romeo and Juliet, but in fact the film is now 44 years old and it was nominated for 11 Oscars which it won 10 of. West Side Story (Stage show), premiered at the Rivoli Theatre in New York in 1957, where it had a very successful run of 77 weeks. After its successful time on the stage, the movie went into production in August 1960, the full cast having to complete 2 months of gruelling rehearsals prior to production. So look out next year as it will be the Golden Anniversary of West Side Story and I should imagine they will re-release a special edition to celebrate it. Advantages: Good tasty porter with a stout-like quality.
Disadvantages: Harder to find than some beers.

...We have just recovered from setting up and working at Chesterfield Beer Festival ~ the 6th Annual Festival run by the branch of CAMRA (Campaign for Real Ale) that I belong to. It is hard work, but also great fun, because we get to source, order, buy and sell beers from breweries all over the country. This year our theme was Local Beers for Local Folk so, although not as widespread, the beer ordering put us in contact with some small interesting beers from small interesting breweries. I tend to be a fan of dark beers so when choosing beers off of the list at a Beer Festival I look at the dark beers first and then try some of the others. Double Sided Pregnancy Pillow

...If you have read any of my other reviews, you will know that I tend to focus on pregnancy, baby and children related products. So, here we have another 'life saver.' When I was pregnant I was signed off sick for the last five months due to problems in my back which led to extreme pain in my back and hips. The more pregnant I got, the worse it became due to the weight of my bump (bump makes it sound oh so cute and oh so small! I think the phrase I am looking for is?gargantuan mound!). This pain increase even more at night because a) pregnant women should not lie on their backs after 20 weeks due to circulation issues and b) this means lying on your side which causes your 'bump' to pull on your back. In side Orbital's In Sides

...I've been a fan of 'Orbital' for many years now, but I must say that 'In Sides' probably one of my favourite 'Orbital' albums. Released way back in 1997 'In sides' features the theme tune from the film 'The Saint' as with 'Doctor?' on 'The Altogether' album the Hartnoll's have done a superb cover version. Amidst the fantastic artwork on the CD booklet we find that the first track was written utilising CYRUS - The Greenpeace mobile solar generator, just another case of the boys using almost anything to produce damn fine music. So onto the album itself, consisting of nine tracks 'In Sides' is a far cry from the 'Snivilisation' album from 1994. The Bright side of Brad Pitt

...Once again I had found myself bored, thus retreated to my vast collection of DVDs which I had promised myself I would get around to watching. Isn't it amazing that, although there were many potentially great movies, I picked the one with a famous face. I like brad Pitts movies, I mean who doesn't, and upon reading the back I found out that "The Dark Side of the Sun" is Brads movie debut, so I mean it must be good to catapult him to his current height of fame. As soon as the menu came up the violin music began I don't know why but it led me to believe that it was going to be sad; and as the only movie to ever make me cry is The Lion King, (who can hold back when Simba finds his Dad dead and cries for help), I had high expectations. The DRUNK Side

Advantages: Good songs, DRUNK, interesting break away from previous work
Disadvantages: drunk, etc

...Another Side Of Bob Dylan is the rather poor title that the record company stuck on this Bob Dylan's fourth album. This album came out in 1964 the same year as it's preceding album The Times They Are A-Changin' yet it is remarkably different. The title is a poor one because this is so obviously showing another side of Bob Dylan to that seen in his first three albums. The story of the recording of this album is one that is so utterly 'Dylan'. It was all recorded and done in one single night. The session was heavily fuelled by cheap wine. Dylan loved cheap wine, not sure why cheap wine rather than not cheap wine but he's full of quirks like that. And well I'll let the track by track review tell the story, all I'll say now is that it might be a good idea to get drunk yourself to listen to the album.. or even read a review of it, here...

...Dark Side of the Moon was released nearly 30 years ago, in 1973, but as the state of music has rapidly evolved, this masterpiece still sounds fresh, relevant and groundbreaking to this day. This is one of the most talked about classics, which makes it something of a challenge to review, as so much has been written about dark side! By 1973, Pink Floyd already had a lot of superb material under their belt. The playful Syd Barret Psychedelic material (singles like See Emily Play & Arnold Layne, and their debut album, Piper at the Gates of Dawn) was definitely ahead of its time, and in 1971 released the spacey ?Meddle?, famous for the 20-minute epic, ?Echoes?. Arguably, turn of the decade Pink Floyd was the most ?interesting? music, more progressive than anything on Dark Side. So, what gives Dark Side of the Moon its classic status...
