The lifebook S7210 CAM

Advantages: very portable
Disadvantages: quite expensive

...Fujitsu siemens have always been a bit of an underdog in the laptop market, there laptops are thought to be not as good quality of some other leading brands, and people tend to think that there cheap prices reflect the quality. This just isn’t the case at all. Although they do make some really cheap basic laptops, they are now starting to branch out into the more professional laptop market, making portable and fast business laptops as well. The laptop is a combination of three main colours which makes it look a lot more modern than some of its predecessors and gives it a cool edge over its rivals. A business mans laptop that looks cool instead of boring seemed to be something acers travel mates just weren’t designed to be and I don’t think acer could ever figure out how to get this balance, fujitsu however have...

GREAT Fujitsu Siemens LifeBook C1110

Advantages: cheap, easy to use ,all your internet need, good dvd rom/cd-rw
Disadvantages: quite slow on start up

...Ive had this laptop now for about a year and i havent had anything wrong with it but to be honest it isnt the best laptop in the world as it is abit slow when loading up and it could do with a bigger hard drive as it only has a 20gb. but if you only want a laptop to go the internet ,read your e-mails and to watch and burn dvds i would highly recommend it to anyone and as it is a bit old you can get one for around £149.99 which is realy cheap for a laptop which to be honest isnt that bad! and im sure if you have a look on ebay you could get one fo around £70 which would be a bargin! so if you are looking for a laptop which is cheap and does all the your internet , email and media needs you need to get yourself a Fujitsu Siemens LifeBook C1110....

fantastic laptop, for all tose travelers

Advantages: portability
Disadvantages: hard drive space and ram, (for some).

...Fujitsu is a company that operates under the well known Siemens brand. They are now making more laptops than ever and coming out with fantastic new models of laptops all the time. This model, the lifebook was designed and made for al those people, who for whatever needs, want a good looking laptop which is very portable to take around with them. This laptop takes in all these demands and incorporates them into its specification and fabulous build quality. It great to see a laptop that’s not only meant for business like people, but also looks great too. This is something that the acer travel mates just never managed to get right as they always designed their laptops with one colour scheme and boring design all the time. This laptop however has a great look to it. It kind of looks quite cube like, which in this case is very...

great, but pricey

Advantages: everything
Disadvantages: price

...Fujitsu Siemens have been making laptops for a while now, when they started making them at first I was a little sceptical of how good they would be, because they had no other previous history in designing or making laptops. However Fujitsu Siemens are now in my top list of laptops I would buy or recommend to people and probably just come in third under dell and Sony vaio laptops. Fujitsu Siemens have made quite a few different models, there has been the amilo, the esprimo, and now, the life book. All of these 3 different models have loads of other laptops branching out to suit your needs and different price ranges so there really is a lot to choose from. The basic concept of the life book is a simple laptop that’s easy to carry around, without compromising on performance and that has great battery life to last you...

Fujitsu lifebook E series

Advantages: quick nice design
Disadvantages: keyboard

...The Fujitsu Siemens Lifebook notebook is a nice looking and fast computer. The screen of this notebook is very large and is controlled by the special function keys. You have the possibility to use 2 pcmcia cards to use scsi equipment or to use a modem. The last notebook I had was a Siemens, but that was a less user friendly machine. The E-series notebook can be equipped with a 4, 6 or 9 GB harddisk. One of the disadvatages of the lifebook is it's keyboard. The keys are not allways very logically situated. The insert and delete keys are for instance situated at the top of the keyboard. So correcting wronly typed words causes you to move your right hand out of the type area. Especially for quick-typing users this is time consuming....

A Lifebook to make Life Easier

Advantages: Really small and easy to transport
Disadvantages: Gets a little hot plus finding a smaller enough case not easy!

...My husband bought this laptop to replace our large and ageing Toshiba laptop - without telling me I might add, but I am so pleased with it that I forgive him easily! For the technically minded (which I am not very) the following are the specs: Fujitsu Siemens Lifebook T4120 Intel T2400 @ 1.83Ghz Core Duo 512mb Memory 12.1" LCD Display CD/DVD Re-writer Running Windows XP Pro Tablet PC Version The main selling point for us (OK well for him) was the compact size and relatively light weight. The machine is fast and silent but does get rather hot if used for long periods - which means I need to get a lap tray for my husband's knees! Battery life (in the real world) is an acceptable 2 hours or so. Now - what makes this laptop different from others on the market is that the screen rotates and folds down over the keyboard...

Siemens Stains

Advantages: Small, light
Disadvantages: plasticcy, not intuitive

...My Savvy died on me beep beep it went and waved goodbye with it’s little pixilated hand, it’s enough to bring a tear to my eye…. Actually the charger was broken and the nice lady at the mobile phone shop is fixing for me right now, woe betide them if they don’t get it right, I’ll be writing a stiff review and then they’ll be sorry, Consumer Power!!! (Actually since they took the phone and since I wrote this first paragraph I got a phone call, it seems there is a problem with the repair, I can already feel my bile rising…..) So to prove just how nice the lady was she gave me a Siemens C25 to love in the place of my Savvy, I wasn’t actually too impressed to be honest, it looked boxy and a bit plastic, not as nice as my blue Savvy. But it was very light and to be honest its not actually...

My love affair with the Siemen?s SL55

Advantages: Stylish, compact, packed with features.
Disadvantages: Texting can be a little difficult at first.

...?I Will Fly you to the moon and back if you?ll be, if you?ll be my baby?. My dirty old Nokia 3310 was past its sell-by-date years ago so I have to admit to getting ridiculously over excited at the prospect of a new phone. So many decisions to be made. Colour, polyphonic ringtones, games, and camera, one of those flip clamshell types or a standard Nokia style? Given my self-imposed budget of £60 surely I had given myself little leeway regarding the type of phone I could purchase? Never underestimate the dididave obsession with bargain hunting. It is rare that I pay full price for anything and as such revel in the underground culture that is the boot sale, charity shop and online auction world. Trawling through the Internet back alleys in search of my next gadget I came across the Siemen?s SL55. This little beauty retails...

Fujitsu/Siemens Li2727

Advantages: Good specs, portable, cheap
Disadvantages: Bad customer service

...I recently went on a search for a good quality Laptop and found this one in Comet. It looked quite good and seemed to have everything I wanrted. Processor is a Intel dual core !.73 Ghz It boasts a good 2GB of DDR2 Ram 160 GB Hard drive 15.4 in Screen DVD+/- RW drive My opinion. I came home with my Laptop and unpacked it all, went through the associated paperwork and set it up, as I already have a Desktop this was easy. When you first start it prompts you to create Recovery disks, I started the software to do this and all seemed well until almost at the end of the first disk it came up with a message saying write error. I thought that maybe it was a bad disk and tried again, same outcome. I phoned comet to ask for asssistance and was told to phone Fijitsu/ siemens, so I did I was told it was a software problem and they...
