... Pure Digital Siesta: What is it? This is a digital radio alarm clock that can receive both DAB (Digital Audio Broadcast) radio and FM radio stations. It's quite neat and comes in three different colours, black, charcoal and silver. Review of Pure Digital Siesta

Time for a Siesta!!!!!

Advantages: Very affordable, friendly, knowledgeable staff, fabulous coaches
Disadvantages: Limited destinations, especially in school holidays

...I've been a coaching holiday fan for many years now (have a look at my other reviews for my opinion on a rival firm!) and it was with some trepidation that I decided to book with Siesta after stumbling across their website: http://www.siestaholidays.co.uk/ They have just got their online service up and running so you can now book online! I decided to email a brochure request to them and received it back within a few days. The brochures aren't huge as to be honest, there is limited choice with the destinations, but it is well laid out and there is lots of valuable information and pictures of the coaches. There is also a voucher in the front for free entry into the roadshow which is held at venues such as Manchester's GMEX Centre or Birmingham's NEC for example. Fiesta at Siesta

Advantages: Fab for Families
Disadvantages: Too far and uphill from beach

...The Hotel Club Siesta is definatley one for families and pool lovers. Rooms & Facilities The reception area is light and airy, the rooms consist of a bedroom, a bathroom and a balcony (if on upper floors). The bedrooms are slightly cramped (especially if you had to hire a cot as we had too), there are 2single beds, a bed setee, a dressing table, small fridge and 1 wardrobe. There is also a telephone available to ring down to reception if need be. The bathrooms are huge the y have toilet, bidet, a washbasin unit with a huge mirror a massivebath with overhead shower. There was never a problem with hot water. There is a maid service everyday except Sunday and cleane towel everyday too. There is air conditoning n every room, which is free of charge and just fantastic. Downstairs there is a huge reception area, restaurant and 2 bars...

SIESTA 1 HOTEL, ALCUDIA - 'If you like food with heads on ....'

Advantages: Family friendly, great kids club and lots of things for children to do.
Disadvantages: little food to choose from at meal times and rooms were basic

...The one and in my opinion, only main downfall to the Siesta 1 hotel as a whole was the food! There was only one restaurant to go to and it was in a pokey, tiny little room, which could only seat around 30 people at a time, meaning you were left queuing for sometimes up to fifteen minutes with hungry kids before you got to sit down and have your meal. Not to mention the choice of food to pick from was horrendous, most nights it was a choice of seafood stew or seafood paella, which on one hand is fantastic traditional food, but with small children with us ? trying to get them to eat something with heads still on it was a no-go! This was probably the only thing not catered for children as there was almost nothing fussy children, or in normal cases, any children would eat. Review of Siesta 1 Apartments, Alcudia

Siesta Mar Apartments 1 & 2

Advantages: Entertainment during the day and on an evening.
Disadvantages: Crowded main pool area.

...The place where I went on holiday this year was a resort called Cala n?Porter in Menorca. The resort was nice, although quiet. The apartments where I stayed were called Siesta Mar 1 & 2 and they were really nice. There was two sections of the hotel, hence the 1 & 2, and the whole vicinity of the hotel was absolutely enormous. In the hotel, there was 3 main pools and another small pool amongst the apartment blocks. The main pools were situated by the hotel reception and bar area. Also there was a restaurant with a wide variation of the menu, for both adults and children to enjoy. This particular hotel was great for families with young children and there was a lot of daytime and night-time activities to choose from. Overall, this holiday was really enjoyable, and the apartment were situated in a great position for travelling around...

I have a 27 year old daughter, a 6 year old grandson and a (PETRIFIED OF FLYING!!!) wife. In recent years we have been on holiday together as a family in the UK. As always in the UK you have the disappointment of bad weather. So this time I decided to splash out on a holiday in the sun. HURRAY! With a non flyer (Wife) and a (daughter) not keen on travelling overland... Choosing an ideal holiday which suited us all was not going to be easy! Cash Siesta

Advantages: none
Disadvantages: the whole program is a disadvantge.

...This has got to be one of the worst ever 'paid to surf' programs i have ever used. They have an extreme shortage of advertisers, and you have to click on almost every banner you see if you want to keerp getting paid. The way it works is there is an animation of a spanish man at the side of the screen, if he goes for a siesta (falls asleep) you stop getting paid, the little guy on my cashbar must have been the laziest man on the planet. I spent more time trying (unsuccesfully) to keep him awake than I did surfing the internet which makes it a complete waste of time. Personnally I advice you to stay well clear of companies like cash fiesta, although I still recommend 'paid surfing' programs to everybody that uses the internet. Long bloody siesta

Disadvantages: Lazy mexican is always going to sleep (still its fun to wake him)

...If you have the vbar you know what the title means for most of the month of August (like paysU in july) the little mexican has been having an extended siesta. He started to rerun tonight though and the bar looks very impressive with three ads now running accross the screen hopefully this means they have lots of money for us. Also and this is the important bit of this opinion they have started to have Deals which can dramatically increase the amount of points you crank up in a month esp in months like this when the turnover has been slow. They are offering points on many different things from the usual gator and back facilities to casinos check what you have to give first and then cream these freebies for all theyt are worth...

Come and Stay at The Siesta Mar in Cala 'n Porter
