...I am writing a review on the brilliant film The Fantastic Four ? Rise of the Silver Surfer. I went to the cinema last night ? 28 June to see this film because I saw the first one and I loved it so I had to go and see the sequel. The Story Itself Fantastic Four have returned with a lot more trouble ? Reed & Sue (Mr Fantastic & Invisible Woman) are to be wed. But as superheroes, having a normal wedding wouldn?t be possible? Because at the same time of their wedding ? The Earth is encountering unexplained happenings ? Everything is turning to ice, and all planets after turn into rubble ? Destroyed. So? the wedding is ruined by an uninvited guest by an old enemy. So the Fantastic Four get together with the police to find out what is going on. All they know is that it?s a silver man on a surf board. To the heroes? dismay...

The Silver Surfer - Good or Bad???

Advantages: Well acted, nice storyline, Stuck to original story line quite well
Disadvantages: A little predictable, Silver Surfer could have had more screen time

...marriage of The invisible girl and Mr fantastic, It tells how it has had to be postponed three times previously for one reason or another and as they prepare for the wedding strange things start happening around the world that cause unrest. Next thing we know the military turn up with a question for mr Fantastic about the strange annomalies and so the story starts . . . . For anyone who remembers the Silver Surfer from the old cartoons etc then the story follows pretty much how you may well remember it, It sticks pretty close to how I remember the Silver Surfer coming about which is a good thing in my eyes as I don't like when the films deviate too much. Also there is a very brief appearance by Stan Lee, the creator of the Fantastic Four/Silver Surfer. All in all I enjoyed this film, Probably more so that the first. The characters were...

...Fantastic Four used to be my favourite comic book; But once again the guys at Marvel have created the same storyline yet again. Rise of the Silver Surfer sure is an enjoyable follow-up to the first fantastic four, but instead of offering an different approach Marvel have decided to stick to their guns and produce something pretty much the same as the first film. Once again there is something threatening the world and the only people to save it are fantastic four; much like the outline of spiderman, x-men and superman. The Silver Surfer of space.

Advantages: compact and easy to move
Disadvantages: competition is better

...I seem to go through hard drives like a hot knife through butter, so it was no wonder that a warning appeared about low space left on my computer. Therefore i decided to review different hard drives offered by various companies before deciding which to purchase. Now i did not buy this Iomega, but only because i found a cheaper western digital passport with twice the gb offered. I found this to be a great performer as i was allowed to test it. Design The portable hard drive comes in an attractive silver and white case that has USB2 and FireWire 400 ports. It is a fully functional travel companion and easily fits into a rucksack or laptop bag. This is feasable because it weighs relatively little and is easy to handle. Surfers Hostel

Advantages: cheap as!
Disadvantages: overpriced drinks

...The Surfers Hotel in Newquay, has an amazing location, very cheap rates, and a twenty-four-hour bar. What more could anyone staying in Newquay want from a hotel?? The hotel is situated at 1, Narrowcliff , which is literally across the road from Tolcarne Beach. Once you've stumbled down 130-odd steep steps anyway.. (going back up again is a caner!). Tolcarne itself is a beautiful beach, surrounded on the land-side with cliffs, but going out a long way at low-tide, and gets some surf second only to Fistral. It has lifeguard cover, as well as a couple of shops and cafés. The hotel site is just on the edge of the town centre, literally a hundred yards from Barracuda nightclub, Berties Uptown bar, and importantly, a cash point! It's about a five to ten minute walk to the centre of town, a fifteen to twenty minute walk to the opposite...

The Fantasic Four Rise to the Challenge of a Sequel!

Advantages: good story, great acting and effects

The Fantastic Four are then required to help stop this surfer but things take a drastic turn when Johnny follows the Silver Surfer and after touching him his powers start to fail and if any of the other guys touch him they swap powers! ...- do not get to be the silver surfer and the attacks are limited and poorly executed. You get no feeling of doing the attacks and are left feeling detached from your favourite super heroes. Multiplayer - probably the BIGGEST letdown with camera angles leaving your team mates behind and lost. The gameplay is confusing and hard to co-ordinate. This is truly a dismal attempt. OVERALL: One to avoid for even the hardcore F4 fan - you will be ashamed of this addition to the franchise. The only upside is the price, although you would save more money avoiding this title altogether....

Advantages: steady well-paced action, plenty of visual treats and amusing moments

...This sequel to the first Fantastic Four film has not been met with great enthusiasm, which puzzles me. Here, a silver humanoid figure on what appears to be a surfboard begins appearing all over the world and wreaking havoc. When the Silver Surfer interrupts Reed and Sue's most recent attempt to complete a wedding ceremony, Johnny aka Human Torch flies off in hot pursuit.
