Credit card-sized storage for memory and sim cards
Advantages: Lightweight, slim, beautiful design, great value for money
Disadvantages: possibly bend cards if stored for long periods of time (untested)
...at only 14 grams. It can hold three cards, whether they be SD cards, mobile phone sim cards.
The holder won't fit into one of the slots in a wallet for a credit card unless it is a fairly large slot. I have a tri-fold wallet, and have the holder 'standing on end' in the back compartment for the notes. It works very well there: easily accessible and doesn't get caught up with the coins.
The holder itself is a black plastic on one side where you insert/remove the cards, and a matt-finish brushed aluminium on the other side. There is a small proporta logo stamped into the bottom right hand corner of the aluminium. The aluminium side looks like it could be from a business card holder - very elegent and minimalist. The brushed finished is good because the inevitable scratches won't show up on it too badly. The black plastic is also of a matt...

The Sims
Advantages: Fun for a while, detailed, good graphics
Disadvantages: Addictive, gets boring after a while!
...The Sims is yet another brilliant game from Maxis, with Maxis having already produced the brilliant SimCity series. The Sims is so totally unlike any other game that it just had to be a true classic. You control peoples lives, you choose their occupation, you choose their furniture, you choose the wallpaper and bed to their home, you choose whether to make their life a living hell or to make it heaven. In some aspects I suppose you could compare the Sims to Big Brother except you control the characters. So if you’re a control freak you’re bound to love the Sims! Just don’t be too mean to you’re Sims!
The detail in the Sims is quite fantastic. You fully furnish your Sims home and can even build it, decide whether to add a second full or not. You also choose the carpets and wallpapers your Sims have. But all that...

The Sims
Advantages: Addictive, entertaining, the sky's the limit!
Disadvantages: Can freeze my computer, gets boring
...In my Sim world, I'm (or rather, Layla) a model earning £400 a day, living in a huge mansion with a swimming pool, with three million quid in the bank, and I have a maid and gardener. I'm caught in a steamy love-triangle with my boyfriend, who I share a house with, and my irresponsible penniless neighbour. My baby has been whisked away by social services (her father drowned in my swimming pool and a son whom I hated anyway died in a house fire (my fault). Colourful life, eh?
The Sims is a simulation (hence Sims) game where you are God. You control your Sims completely and decide what they do with their lives. Of course, you can have a job as a mailroom clerk, and a husband/wife and a son and daughter, living in a sensible three bedroomed house, but how interesting is that? No, it's much more fun to be a whore with multiple boyfriends...

Nectar Card
Advantages: Lots of retailers to collect with
Disadvantages: Online points may not equal amount of cashback available elsewhere
...The nectar card is the loyalty card associated with Sainsbury's, however it has since branched out and is affiliated with many companies which allows for maximum point collecting!
Let's start with the basics, you get 2 points per pound spent at Sainsburys or 1 point per litre of petrol bought at the Sainsbury's petrol garage. Each point accumulated is worth half a penny, so you need 2 points to equal 1 pence. If you redeem your points in store at Sainbury's then you will need minimum 500 points for £2.50 off o your shopping. Points need to be redeemed in increments of 500.
Points can also be collected in other stores, for example Dolland and Aitchinson also give 2 points per pound, as do Homebase. As far as I am aware however, you cannot redeem your points against your total bills in these stores.
Points can also be collected...

I still love The Sims
Advantages: Fun, easy to play
Disadvantages: Addictive
...to have a piece of software called DirectX 7; this is on The Sims disc if you don't already have it and I am sure it is easy to download as well, (the manual explains clearly how to install DirectX).
~~~~~ What are the system requirements? ~~~~~
(This bit is fairly boring, feel free to skip).
~ Microsoft Windows ~
Windows 95+,
233 MHz to 450 MHz Pentium II+,
64 MB RAM, 4x or faster CD-ROM drive,
DirectX 6.0-compatible sound card and graphics card (the card must have at least 2 MB onboard memory and be able to display at 800x600 with 16-bit colour).
~ Linux ~
(You can get a ported Linux version from TransGaming, www.transgaming.com)
Linux Kernel 2.2+,
Glibc 2.1.3 or higher,
XFree86 4.0 or higher or equivalent,
350 MHz Celeron/Pentium II/Duron/Athlon+ or equivalent,
The Sims
Advantages: Great gameplay
Disadvantages: TOO Addictive! You'll be up all night!
...The Sims is one of the most original, innovative and addictive games since Lemmings first came round. You build a house, stick some people in it and run their lives. Get them a TV, a fridge and a job, make them marry, fight, have affairs! The Sims will run themselves, but they can be a bit stupid, but you can either sit back and watch or jump in and get involved. As addictive as chocolate, The Sims quickly replaces your social life with that of some polygons. The Sims website gives you plenty of downloads, and scope for showing off your creations to the world. A true original, and loved by men and women alike, the Sims deserves to be a massive success....
THE SIMS
Advantages: Easy to play, great learning aid, well presented, runs well
Disadvantages: Very Adictive
...WOW - WHAT A GREAT GAME & EDUCATIONAL TOO
IT's almost like real life (if only life was so simple)
Not only is the SIMS a great game to play it is a brilliant learning aid for the kids. It teaches them the value of money & the need to save. It helps them learn about relationships, responsibilities, running a home and much more besides. My kids aged from 9 to 19 all love it and I often play it myself for a little relaxation.
If you enjoy playing simulation games then this one is for you.
A great game, easy to play and brilliant fun for all ages....
The Sims 1.5?
Advantages: Multiple personality traits, improved object graphics, multiple savegames
Disadvantages: Ugly Sims, 'rabbit hole' community lots, slow AI, poor pathing, feels unfinished, buggy
...***Please be sure to read my updates at the end of this review, which now address many of the problems I found with my review of this game in its original 'straight out of the box' form.
Year of release: 2009
Publisher: EA Games
The Sims 3 is the latest in the ?Sims? life simulator series that began in 2000 with The Sims, in which you create lifelike characters and watch them live out their lives and interact with each other in many and varied, and often hilariously funny, ways. As a massively avid fan of The Sims 2, I got my copy of this new offering a week ago and have been immersing myself in it.
Installing it is easy, if a bit time-consuming as it requires a whopping 6.1 GB of hard disk space with an allowance of another 1 GB for saved games and custom content. Once installed, those who, like myself, had become accustomed to...
the sims
Advantages: it can be different each time you play, it's great for those long dark winter days and nights.It's great for the whole family to enjoy.
Disadvantages: some say it gets boring after a while,I say it's you tha gets boring not the game but it is important not to overdose on it as you can loose all of your friends if your never off it.
...Introduction
When I first heard about "The Sims" it was at my sisters house,I went in the living room and the whole family were stood around the P.C. laughing.They were watching the Goths have a scrap.Bella was about to give mortimer a slap! Straight away I wanted to buy it and that's exactly what I did!
Installation
It was really easy to install thanks to the autorun and simple instructions, and before I knew it I was creating my own little village!
Build mode
Building the houses has to be one of the best bits about the game,I love being able to design and decorate the houses of my dreama!Often if I see houses on my way to work that I like,I try to replicate them on "The Sims"!
Creating families
Another great feature is being able to design the characters-I have all of my family on "The Sims" and I see more...
sim house
Advantages: great fun, you control what they do, excellent sound and graphics, good longetivity
Disadvantages: you cant follow sims everywhere
...Have you ever wanted to be in control of your own home? wanted to control what things you buy and where they go? well with The Sims, You can do just that. The sims is all about controlling and managing little computerized beings who live in their own homes. You choose what they do, eat, when they sleep. Its all down to you on how they live their life. Boring you may think? well you will be deeply shocked as the sims is one of the most playable sim games out there on the games market today. You have total control on their lives, the freedom they have, is controlled by you.
The sims looks like a fairly plain old game at first glance, but once you get playing, you wont stop for weeks, as this is a highly addictive game. The game takes place in a small town outside of simcity. When you first start, you will get to create your own family...
