Credit card-sized storage for memory and sim cards
Advantages: Lightweight, slim, beautiful design, great value for money
Disadvantages: possibly bend cards if stored for long periods of time (untested)
...at only 14 grams. It can hold three cards, whether they be SD cards, mobile phone sim cards.
The holder won't fit into one of the slots in a wallet for a credit card unless it is a fairly large slot. I have a tri-fold wallet, and have the holder 'standing on end' in the back compartment for the notes. It works very well there: easily accessible and doesn't get caught up with the coins.
The holder itself is a black plastic on one side where you insert/remove the cards, and a matt-finish brushed aluminium on the other side. There is a small proporta logo stamped into the bottom right hand corner of the aluminium. The aluminium side looks like it could be from a business card holder - very elegent and minimalist. The brushed finished is good because the inevitable scratches won't show up on it too badly. The black plastic is also of a matt...

The Sims
Advantages: Fun for a while, detailed, good graphics
Disadvantages: Addictive, gets boring after a while!
...The Sims is yet another brilliant game from Maxis, with Maxis having already produced the brilliant SimCity series. The Sims is so totally unlike any other game that it just had to be a true classic. You control peoples lives, you choose their occupation, you choose their furniture, you choose the wallpaper and bed to their home, you choose whether to make their life a living hell or to make it heaven. In some aspects I suppose you could compare the Sims to Big Brother except you control the characters. So if you’re a control freak you’re bound to love the Sims! Just don’t be too mean to you’re Sims!
The detail in the Sims is quite fantastic. You fully furnish your Sims home and can even build it, decide whether to add a second full or not. You also choose the carpets and wallpapers your Sims have. But all that...

The Sims 1.5?
Advantages: Multiple personality traits, improved object graphics, multiple savegames
Disadvantages: Ugly Sims, 'rabbit hole' community lots, slow AI, poor pathing, feels unfinished, buggy
...***Please be sure to read my updates at the end of this review, which now address many of the problems I found with my review of this game in its original 'straight out of the box' form.
Year of release: 2009
Publisher: EA Games
The Sims 3 is the latest in the ?Sims? life simulator series that began in 2000 with The Sims, in which you create lifelike characters and watch them live out their lives and interact with each other in many and varied, and often hilariously funny, ways. As a massively avid fan of The Sims 2, I got my copy of this new offering a week ago and have been immersing myself in it.
Installing it is easy, if a bit time-consuming as it requires a whopping 6.1 GB of hard disk space with an allowance of another 1 GB for saved games and custom content. Once installed, those who, like myself, had become accustomed to...

The Sims
Advantages: Addictive, entertaining, the sky's the limit!
Disadvantages: Can freeze my computer, gets boring
...In my Sim world, I'm (or rather, Layla) a model earning £400 a day, living in a huge mansion with a swimming pool, with three million quid in the bank, and I have a maid and gardener. I'm caught in a steamy love-triangle with my boyfriend, who I share a house with, and my irresponsible penniless neighbour. My baby has been whisked away by social services (her father drowned in my swimming pool and a son whom I hated anyway died in a house fire (my fault). Colourful life, eh?
The Sims is a simulation (hence Sims) game where you are God. You control your Sims completely and decide what they do with their lives. Of course, you can have a job as a mailroom clerk, and a husband/wife and a son and daughter, living in a sensible three bedroomed house, but how interesting is that? No, it's much more fun to be a whore with multiple boyfriends...

The Sims 3
Advantages: Seamless, traits, Sims are better looking
Disadvantages: Hard to keep track of, game play more complicated
...Before I start this review, I should mention that I am a long time Sims fan. I have every single game and every single expansion, and therefore have played the game rather a lot over the years! I have been eagerly following the release of Sims 3, even building a laptop based around it's specs, and so I was very glad when it FINALLY got a release after numerous hold ups!
So, what do you do in a Sims game? Whatever you want, really. For me I like to create little families who live out good lives. I like to get them to the top of their careers and into fabulous mansions. Some of my friends have their own unique little ways of playing it - some of them like to terrorise the neighborhood, whilst others like to create soap style dramas with their Sims. It really is up to you what you do with them.
Though you can play a premade...

Nectar Card
Advantages: Lots of retailers to collect with
Disadvantages: Online points may not equal amount of cashback available elsewhere
...The nectar card is the loyalty card associated with Sainsbury's, however it has since branched out and is affiliated with many companies which allows for maximum point collecting!
Let's start with the basics, you get 2 points per pound spent at Sainsburys or 1 point per litre of petrol bought at the Sainsbury's petrol garage. Each point accumulated is worth half a penny, so you need 2 points to equal 1 pence. If you redeem your points in store at Sainbury's then you will need minimum 500 points for £2.50 off o your shopping. Points need to be redeemed in increments of 500.
Points can also be collected in other stores, for example Dolland and Aitchinson also give 2 points per pound, as do Homebase. As far as I am aware however, you cannot redeem your points against your total bills in these stores.
Points can also be collected...

The Sims Review :)
Advantages: Great game,
Disadvantages: Nothing to say but very addictive
...to pick you up and take you down town to and then you can move around and find what you want and then take it to a till and purchase just like you do in life. Well that?s enough about the other Sims extension packs. The Sims is very basic as you only get the main items to buy and if you buy an extension pack you will get more items for your house.

The Sims
Advantages: Great gameplay
Disadvantages: TOO Addictive! You'll be up all night!
...The Sims is one of the most original, innovative and addictive games since Lemmings first came round. You build a house, stick some people in it and run their lives. Get them a TV, a fridge and a job, make them marry, fight, have affairs! The Sims will run themselves, but they can be a bit stupid, but you can either sit back and watch or jump in and get involved. As addictive as chocolate, The Sims quickly replaces your social life with that of some polygons. The Sims website gives you plenty of downloads, and scope for showing off your creations to the world. A true original, and loved by men and women alike, the Sims deserves to be a massive success....

Sim Addiction
Advantages: Fun. Addictive. Improved.
Disadvantages: Needs more content.
...After so many years of development and countless delays in release, fans of the previous two sims (myself included) have been eageraly awaiting the arrival of the biggest pc game franchise to date. And now finally it has arrived. I got my copy pre-ordered knowing full well that copies would be selling like hot cakes and indeed I was right as most stores are already out of stock, but are ordering more.
I played it over the weekend and I msut say it is a very polished game. The graphics are much better and there are small detailed improvements such as mirrors reflections and the tv's now show full clips instead of just a static image. However, the main improvements that really captivate the player making it so addictive you can just play for hours on end are the seamless neighbourhood integration that was not possible in previous sims...

SIMpleton SIMS
Advantages: You control everything and determine the outcome
Disadvantages: Can have you hooked for hours at a time
...from reality and send you into your dream world where you can recreate your perfect home, the most expensive décor and furnishings and even take early retirement, should you locate a few cheats to help you gain the niceties. Although having said that it can also be a laugh to send your family into rack and ruin, giving them only the cheap basics and tiresome jobs as an angry sim is an extremely funny one.
~~~GETTING STARTED~~~
When you arrive home with your newfound family in their box ready to be unleashed, simply pop in the disc and follow all instructions in the guide provided to install and run. Included in the pack you will receive a PCCD reference card for your guide to trouble free gaming and a 92 page step by step guidance booklet with details of everything you need to know during the game from understanding the on...
