...Well where do i begin... This is simply the best console ever, ever invented. Now I am going to be completely bias as my first console was the good old NES and since then I have had every single Nintendo Console. Now I waited patiently for the release of the Nintendo Wii but i got a bit eager and bought the Xbox 360. Now the Xbox 360 is an amazing bit of kit and the graphics are intence, I honestly thought nothing would compare. I started hearing things about the Wii, like the graphics were no real upgrade from the GameCube (which was the case). So my loyalty towards Nintendo was slowly declining as i have always stayed loyal to them. Before the release I started seeing footage of the sweeping controller which would fundamentally control the game... surely this could not be true.. and surely this was far too ahead of its game...

Review of Nintendo Wii

SIMPLY THE BEST?

Advantages: Easily readable, light, non-intellectual, aimed at the more mature woman
Disadvantages: A tad old fashioned, but perhaps I am too?

...Yes, I?ll admit it! I?ve been reading rather a lot of magazines lately. Mainly by virtue of the fact that I went to Scotland for a week in August and travelled by train. It?s a five hour journey and whilst I can quite easily get my head stuck into a good book for such a duration, I do find that the density of the text combined with the motion of the train, makes me feel sick after a while. So, magazines, with their colours and layouts make a good alternative. That?s my excuse anyway. One of the magazines that I picked up was ?best?. Whilst doing a little research for this review, I was surprised to discover that this publication has been around since 1987. Simply the best

Advantages: Looks very natural, conditions and leaves hair shiny, easy application.

...This is a review on a video, called The Best of The Vicar of Dibley. I am not going to go in to too much detail about the show, as I am sure that you all will know of it very well. But for those who don't, then I would just like to give a quick little recap on it for you - it won't take very long, promise! It stars Dawn French as the holy woman of God Geraldine Granger, who arrives to take up the position of Vicar in a little village that is called Dibley. It being quite a traditional village, some of the villagers are quite hostiel towards her at first. However, she manages to do what the previous vicar didn't - fill the pews within the church full of people. She gradually wins over the core people, and there is a truly happy story with an even happier ending to follow it. But now back to the item in question - the actual video...

Simply the BEST!

Advantages: One of the best Milds on the market.

Along with a selection of other Cask and gravity served beers they also stock a range of beers from the Timothy Taylor brewery. Some of their beers are really easy to find, but the Gardener's has one of my favourite, slightly less easy to get hold of brews ~ a light coloured Mild Ale called Timothy Taylor Golden Best. ~~~THE BREWERY. Review of Timothy Taylor's Golden Best

Simply The Best

Advantages: Very tasty, melt in the mouth buttery texture
Disadvantages: A bit messy

...When it comes to food, I am a bit of a snob and I am not afraid to admit it! I like buying the premium brands, like Tesco Finest and Asda Extra Special, and am sure I'm not alone. All the major supermarkets now have their own premium ranges, and even Morrisons, which didn't have its own premium range prior to the takeover of Safeway, has integrated 'The Best' range into its overall food offer. As I tend to shop in Morrisons quite a bit, this is great news. You can now buy anything from 'The Best' grapes and cherries to 'The Best' Belgian Chocolate Eclairs - one of my favourites! On my latest shopping trip, I came across a box of 'The Best' Shortbread Fingers and it is these that I shall be reviewing today. A 200g box of the biscuits costs 72p and compares very favourably with Asda's 180g box, costing 81p, and Tesco's 165 g box...

...Tina Turner has been around for decades. I think everyone can quote a song from her be it ‘What’s love got to do with it’ to ‘Proud Mary’ to ‘Golden Eye’. This is her Greatest Hits album, which collects her best hits until 1991 when the album was released. It has 18 tracks, which includes duets, with the likes of Rod Stewart, and live songs. The sleeve to the cd does not have the song words, which I find sad. I have noticed with many greatest hits albums that the song words are not there, it is a great shame cause it takes me ages to learn the words to sing along to. Is it really the best

Advantages: Some good songs...
Disadvantages: ...but not as many as you'd expect on a Best Of

...This album is not really the best of Tina Turner, in my opinion. I know I am biased towards her earliest material – and by that I mean the Ike and Tina recordings, and up until the solo “Private Dancer” album. “River deep mountain high”, “Sexy Ida”, and “Nutbush City Limits” (the Ike and Tina version, not the 90’s version that appears on “The best”) are well up there on my list of all time favourites. I love her voice, her energy, and I also think she’s a great performer, and admire her very much as a person. But… too many of the songs on here sound like tired old, bombastict songs from (dare I say it?) white musicians. I know that Tina herself isn’t trying to sound like a white singer – it’s her use of backing musicians...

Advantages: Some outstanding tracks
Disadvantages: One not so good tracks

.../10 **TRACK 6 - Against all Odds** This track features the voice of Mariah Carey as well as those of the Westlife boys and was the first single released from the album. It shot straight to number 1 in the UK making Westlife the first act in the UK to have their first six singles go straight to number 1. In my opinion this definitely deserves its place on the album. Mariah's voice really compliments those of the boys and gives the track that something special. Again the music is rather subtle but this simply makes it easier to hear the wonderful vocals. 9/10 **TRACK 7 - My Love** 'My Love' sees a return to the ballads and was included on the boy's second album. The music is quite subtle yet effective in my opinion and gives the boys the chance to showcase their voices very well. This track reached number 1 in the UK singles chart. 8...
