Stars - Simply Red

...find their music very smooth and quite sexy at times and definitely a great date night CD to have. I think it's because they are so easy to listen to that they have so many fans. Apparently they have sold over 50 million albums in a 25 year career, very impressive. My favourite album of theirs is Stars as it contains a lot of my favourite songs of theirs. Stars is the fourth album from Simply Red and was released in 1991. Apparently when it was released it became the best-selling album for two years running in Europe and the UK. According to an article I read, in 2000 Q magazine placed Stars at number 80 in its list of the 100 Greatest British Albums Ever. I would have to agree with this as it tends to be one of the albums that everyone has in his or her collection. Some of my favourite songs on this album include For your Babies...

Before the Devil Knows You're Dead: simply magnificent

Simply Okay

Advantages: Quick and easy to use with quick on time delivery.
Disadvantages: The price increase on the size 20/22

...As a mother of two children under three and a woman trying to lose weight I decided to buy myself a birthday treat and what better than Clothes. I had seen the advert for Simply Be on the TV and made a note of their website address. The website is easy to use and even has a favourites list so you can window shop and then return to it at a later date which I do quite often. I have ordered lots of over the internet, including a couple of skirts and dresses and even a swimsuit, and I have received the things I ordered in the right sizes and colours. I am size 20/22 which in this catalogue is very annoying because its at size 20 that the price increases. I was a bit disappointed by the size of the catalogue, having been used to big book catalogues but I was pleased to find that the catalogue did have some really nice clothes...

Simply brilliant.

However, on the plus side, I got a very rapid response and a new, complete article turned up shortly thereafter, so that was fine with me. Simply the best....

...Well where do i begin... This is simply the best console ever, ever invented. Now I am going to be completely bias as my first console was the good old NES and since then I have had every single Nintendo Console. Now I waited patiently for the release of the Nintendo Wii but i got a bit eager and bought the Xbox 360. Now the Xbox 360 is an amazing bit of kit and the graphics are intence, I honestly thought nothing would compare. I started hearing things about the Wii, like the graphics were no real upgrade from the GameCube (which was the case). So my loyalty towards Nintendo was slowly declining as i have always stayed loyal to them. Before the release I started seeing footage of the sweeping controller which would fundamentally control the game... surely this could not be true.. and surely this was far too ahead of its game...

Simply amazing!

Advantages: hides late nights!
Disadvantages: bit pricey!

...I decided to try this product after seeing an advert in a magazine about how amazing it was and how celebrities couldnt live without it! I was a bit sceptical at first as many products try and make that claim to tempt people! But on a recent trip i decided to treat myself at the airport and see what all the fuss is about! Its quite pricey at £21(but worth it), but i do know that duty free shops sell it for around £17, so i always stock up at the airport. You can get some pretty good deals on ebay too, i'v seen one go on there for around £13! So its best to shop around for the best deal! Its cheaper on the internet but then you have to think of postage and packaging too! You can purchase it on the boots website, and they are always doing free delevery offers...plus you get your points too! So, the application...it takes a few clicks...

Calling all knit-wits! Simply Knitting magazine

Advantages: Good selection of patterns and great free gifts.
Disadvantages: Too many ads and expensive yarns featured.

...will contain an attractive pair of shawl pins, for fastening a knitted shawl across your shoulders. In the past I have had a very useful set of stitch holders as a freebie and a row counter which is in constant use. I have to be honest and admit that I am not a regular purchaser of this magazine, I tend to buy only when I particularly like one of the patterns and the free gift is something I want too! This may sound extravagant to say I spend a fiver on a magazine simply for the patterns and gift, but knitting patterns can be very expensive nowadays, £2+ in some shops and the free gift is often worth several pounds. My Thoughts and Conclusion I have rated Simply Knitting with 3 stars for two reasons, I really feel the huge amount of advertising spoils the magazine and the price of some of the recommended knitting yarns are just too...

For Your Boredom

Advantages: He is a good singer
Disadvantages: He did not live up to his expectations and it was a terrible debut album

...for this particular song. With brilliant guitar riffs, amazing vocals this song should have worked, however I really can?t see myself connecting with the song. Adam uses his falsetto too much and it seems way out of place. I know it?s his signature but it doesn?t work within this song. It could become a grower song, but at the moment I?m not too sure. Rating: 4/10 Track 2: For Your Entertainment I never thought I?d say this, but Adam?s vocals are drowned out within the whole song, Adam has one of the most powerful voices that I have ever heard and for some reason; he has allowed his producers to make him create a dance track. Adam what the hell are you thinking? This track has no Queen inspiration behind it, I can?t see myself dancing to it at all on the dance floor, and it?s just not a very good song at all. Disadvantages: Where on earth does she get the names from?!

.... + The Characters + Jane - The Heroine - Can't keep a man to save her life, mostly through no fault of her own. She writes for 'Gorgeous' magazine but is then headhunted by its rival 'Fabulous', through her career Champagne D'Vyne manages to follow her making her life difficult (but for us very funny). Jane is your usual chick lit, city type, single, career minded, and with plenty of close friends. Champagne D'Vyne - The 'It' girl - A complete Brat, thinks the world of herself and her dog Gucci. Champagne 'writes' a column for each magazine in turn, which is actually written by Jane. Poor old Jane has a nightmare trying to get any material from Champagne as she is always bagging her next man.
