...During the 1990s, if you had a games console you would have probably been in one of two camps: Sega or Nintendo. I certainly was rooted firmly in the Sega camp having had a Mega Drive for many, many years with games like Street of Rage, Ecco the Dolphin and of course, Sonic the Hedgehog. I was a huge Sonic fan, playing the first and second game until completion and then starting up again a few days later as I loved everything about it, the colours, the gameplay.... everything. So if you tried to convince me that some 10-15 years later that Sonic and Mario would team up in a game, I probably would have just laughed. Back then it would have been an absurd thought but one that any magazine reviewer or computer game fanboy would have only dreamed about. ...Having seen the advert for this game i was desperate to buy it as i have not had my wii for that long and i do not have many games. I eventually bought this game and i am so glad that i did as it is great fun. Players This game can be played as a one player or multiplayer as long as you have a wii remote for each player. Also you will need a nunchuck for each player although some of the games you can play with just the remote. Characters In this game you can play as characters from either sonic or mario such as sonic, tails, mario, princess daisy and yoshi. ...The Wii version of Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games has been with us for a while now, and it hasn't been too badly received either amongst the Wii-mote waving, button bashing members of the public out there, so now that the DS version has finally arrived, should these same gamers still be as excited as they were the first time around? ...Well the Simpsons family are back again in this action-packed film! All your favourite characters are here plus a few new ones. It was released on the 10th December 2007 by 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment who have been created films since 1976. The film itself is only an hour and a half long which I found to be a little disappointing as it the equivalent of only three episodes. I was hoping for something a little longer from a movie. It was however worth buying because this film is very different to the simpsons television shows and it hasn't unlike most of them been repeated about 15 times. This movie was directed by David Silverman and stars the voices of many great actors such as Dan Castellaneta and Nancy Cartwright. ...There can't be too many people that need introducing to TV's most dysfunctional TV family but just in case there is I will begin by saying that they are an animated family that live in Springfield, somewhere in the United States. Mother to their three children, is bright blue haired Marge, father is the slob like Homer whilst the three children are Bart, Lisa and baby Maggie. The Simpson's cartoons have been screened regularly in the UK on both Sky One and Channel 4. Over 400 individual episodes of these 25 minute long cartoons have been made and this number is still rising. ...Although long-awaited, the Simpsons Movie was finally released in 2007 with the show at a widely-accepted low ebb. I think many who went to see it probably had mixed expectations; the release of something that had been in the pipeline so long was an exciting prospect, although it had been that long since the show had produced a run of consistently good episodes, only the optimistic or ardently faithful would have been predicting a return to the series' 90s heights. The truth is probably somewhere in the middle; the film is neither as good nor bad as it could have been.
