...Uniquely Singapore!! This is this city's catch phrase. It can be seen on signs as soon as you walk off the plane the moment when you do depart and they wish you a found farewell as the plane departs this fine city. I am not sure what I thought I would expect from Singapore. However, whatever it was did not even compare to what I found in this spectacular city! Upon arriving at the Changi airport, one becomes completely in awe of the airport which supports it's own stopover hotel, free movie theatre and spa! This is not to mention the vast amounts of shops and restaurants. ~Immigration~ On departing the plane, you make your way through the beautiful corridors filled with live plants and flowers of spectacular beauty, to the immigration lines. Budget Holiday In Singapore

Advantages: Safe, A good public transport and accomodation

Advantages: What advantages? Should be renamed the NoStar Alliance.

Flight from Singapore to Melbourne = Did I mention that the flight from Singapore to Melbourne was overbooked? We decided to arrive early just in case they decided to bump us off the flight. Luckily for us, that did not happen. Check-in went smoothly, without any hiccups. Changi International Airport was large and a shoppers' paradise. We went through emigration early to do some duty free shopping. Hint : Buy alcohol here for friends in Australia. Its so much cheaper. ...I had the pleasure of travelling twice with them. Both of these were on their long haul flights from London to Singapore. The last of them was in February 2000. There are so many little things that sets this airline above the others. The main emphasis of Singapore Airlines has always been on service. Off course many airlines offer you good service but what about those little things that you can only experience if you have flown with them. For example on my flight, I was in Economy Class and the night was upon us. Most of the passengers were fast asleep with their pillows stuck under their heads and blankets pulled up over their shoulders. I personally cannot sleep on a flight. Singapore Airlines - A pleasure to travel with

...to our gate, asking if we wanted to stop in any shops on the way or if we would like to stop in a cafe etc, he was extremely helpful. *~*Boarding the Aircraft*~* As I was in the wheelchair I was one of the first to board the aircraft, I was allowed to keep the crutches on board and was supervised on the flight by one of the stewards to ensure that I was not having any difficulties on the flight. We had been located a few rows from the toilets which made it easy for me not to struggle too far and cause a major disturbance on the aircraft. I was taken down in the lift with the eldery and disabled passengers where we waited to board the aircraft, looking back I have no idea how I would've gotten down the stairs to board. My favourite Singapore hotel

Advantages: Unrivalled location, great facities, wonderful breakfasts

...Of all the hotels I have stayed in in Sing, this is definitely my favourite. It's all the flash, marbled, gilted, chanderliered swankiness you can desire, with great facilities, service and efficiency, as only Singapore can do. The rooms are well appointed and very clean, with your typical Holiday Inn double beds and choice of pillow firmness, TV, trouser press, tea and coffee etc., and also internet connections, bathrobes, disposable slippers and safes. The large marble bathrooms come complete with a phone for those calls that just can't wait. One of my favourite features in this hotel is the roof pool. In my local Asda we have a photo centre, cafe, George, electricals, homewear, toys, bakery, pizzaria, rottisary (chicken place lol), fresh meats counter and all the usual foody aisles plus we have a petrol station, cash machines and bus stop. It's the largest shopping store we have although we do have a Tesco, Lidl, Aldi, Co-Op, Farm Foods and Iceland.
