Sirenis Club Playa
Advantages: Reasonable price, Within close reach of other islands, duty free shops are great.
Disadvantages: None
...We travelled to Cala Longa in Ibiza in September 2006 and stayed in the Club Playa hotel which is an all inclusive hotel on the beach front.
This is very handy if you want to keep nipping back for snacks or drinks seen as they are already paid for.
It takes between 45 mins and an hour and a half to transfer from the airport to the hotel depending on time of travel but we must have hit a bad day as it took us well over two hrs to get there that was the worst bit.
The hotel is approximately a 100m walk to the smooth sandy beach.
I thought the hotel to be fantastic.
The natives are polite and nothing is too much trouble for them. They readily greet you on entering the shops. In the bars we were asked if we wanted to sit down and they would come for our drinks order and fetch it for us but I chose to fetch it myself. The least I could...

sirenis country club
Advantages: Sun
Disadvantages: food
...Seaview Country Club
Location: Seaview country Club is located 30 minutes from Ibiza Airport and about 3 miles from the lights of San Antonio. Puerto De Torrent is a small area of which the main drag is about ¾ of a mile long with plenty of bars and shops on both sides of the main road which takes you to San Antonio. Ibiza is seeing an overall of the main roads at the moment and there are lots of diversions to and from San Antonio and Ibiza Town so take care driving or use the public bus service which is very good and cheap to use.
Hotel Seaview Country Club: First impression is always a good sign and on entering the main reception you are greeted with a lovely marble reception area which is very clean and air conditioned. The staff are always greeting and always very helpful. You will find a good seating area with 4 telephone...

A Good Hotel In A Secluded Bay
Advantages: Quiet Location, Good Food
Disadvantages: Lack of Air Conditioning, Small Pool Area
..., the deserve a good tip.
One downside of the hotel is the lack of air conditioning, there is none in the rooms, restaurant or downstairs bar. The place to cool down, other than the pool, is the upper bar, and is a nice place the get away from the entertainment that was mostly poor.
However, one act blew our socks off, they are a duo of a guitarist and singer and bass player called 'me and im' and they are top notch, best entertainment I've had at any hotel. If you stay here I hope you get to see them.
The Resort
There is not much going on in Cala Llonga, this is perhaps why the hotel is all inclusive, there are a few bars and restaurants and that's about it. The hotel is not the Ritz, but is perfectly adequate. Proof that Ibiza is not just about clubbing all night, not that there's anything wrong with that.
The beach is...

Summer sun at the Playa!
Advantages: Staff, cleanliness, rooms, food etc
Disadvantages: n/a
...If there's one thing I looked forward to all year, its a summer holiday. We try out best to make sure we go away every summer, and to date we haven't had very many bad experiences with the hotels we have picked.
Last year, our choice of Holiday was to Tenerife. We booked our holiday at the very last minute. We were due to fly on July 6th, and at the beginning of April, we went into the travel agents and booked.
Our choice of hotel, was the Iberostar Torviscas Playa, Costa Adeje, Tenerife.
**
Travel Agents Recommendation/Booking.
We started browsing through brochures and searching online for a summer holiday in around January. We came to the agreement that Tenerife would be our choice of hotel. We studied the prices in the brochures and haggled online, however although the offers online looked very good value for money, we...

Secluded area, suitable for families
Advantages: Nice beach, good food, good transport links
Disadvantages: A bit too isolated for some people
...I visited the Playa Imperial on a half board basis in August 2005. The area of Cala Llonga is completely different to any preconceptions you might have of Ibiza as being an 18-30s style holiday.
The hotel and the beach are situated in a small and quite peaceful cove of the island. The hotel itself is on a slight hill, and only about 30 seconds walk from the sandy beach.
My first impressions of the hotel were all favourable. Its a three star hotel so you don't expect luxury, but the staff were friendly and the rooms had everything you would expect, a TV, air conditioning and a reasonably sized ensuite bathroom.
The buffet meals were also very good, there was a large amount of choice and again, although you don't expect luxury food, I was impressed with the selection, especially for myself as a vegetarian. The only negatives were...

** Who You Calling A Tramp? **
Advantages: Variety of music, easily accesible, cheap drinks.
Disadvantages: most popular club so very busy. gets a bit hectic at times.
...'t have a dress code and the legal age is 18. Pretty similar to that of the UK clubs however they only had bouncers hanging around after about 2pm so they didn't seem to be that strict. But I did see them get rid of a bit of riff-raff every now and again.
It is one of the latest opening clubs usually staying open until 6am and as most of the other bars shut around 4am Tramps becomes the place to be at about 3am if you can stay awake that long! Plus with a holding space of up to 2000 they'll never turn you away unless you're crawling on your hands and knees!
** Where is it? **
I stayed in Playa De Las Americas which hosts an array of clubs, bars and restaurants and when talking about the place it definitely seems to be the liveliest resort in Tenerife. Being 23 with the world at my feet this seemed like a perfect area and I wasn...

Sa Caleta Playa resort
Advantages: family friendly. lolvey staff. Relaxed atmosphere. Safe
Disadvantages: None.
...and styles to suit a range of different families.
The facilities♥
I was extremely impressed with what this resort had to offer. I think that this resort really has been designed for families but I feel that even if you are not a family you will still love it. At Sa caleta playa there are kids clubs for a range of ages. As soon as we arrived at the resort my brother was asked if he wanted to see what the kids club is like. He went along and liked it but I think he was a bit old for it really and there are activities during the day which are not planned by the kids club. However if you have small children they do a kind of crèche when the English staff can look after your child. This service is free. The staff are lovely.
The resort has a range of things the kids can do during the day if they want and everything they offer is free...

Cheers 2 U - Playa
Advantages: A few good tracks to pick from
Disadvantages: Blinkered subject matter and inconsistent level of performance
...snares and heavy basslines set you up so high you actually forget the guys are on it! The line 'I cant stay in one place i cant sit still' kinda sums this track up. It could have been anyone singing on here the beat would have won the battle. The first single off the album but not sure if it charted, criminal
All The Way - Slow the tempo down slightly and you get this little ditty. Quite a nice come down which shows to me that like Timbaland tunes you dont know whats coming next
Everybody Wanna Love Somebody - Not bad, not as good as the first tracks but acceptable. Slow tempo with a heart felt message. Not one for me really
Together - Same again on this track. Playa showing they have a soft centre, bring back the beats, bring back the beats
I-65 - Again not bad, middle of the road stuff, the lack of features are telling me they...

Torviscas Playa is Top!
Advantages: Great location, Near beach, Attentive & happy staff and good food.
Disadvantages: Cold Pool, Built up Area, Noisy Road, Dinner gets packed
...We have just returned from the Torviscas Playa (September 2007). On first impressions, I wasn't sure as the building looking like it needed a little paint. However, once inside the hotel is clean and well kept with shiny marble floors everywhere. The Reception staff are efficient and really friendly. On arrival the Hotel supplies a small token orange drink, which we thought was a nice touch. The Hotel is in Costa Adeje and is very near to shops, bars, restaurants and a pharmacist. Playa das Americas is not that far away but you would need a taxi. There is even a Pharmacist across the road. Its very close to the beach and there are steps from the hotel, so not good for prams but you can get to the beach another way, which takes an extra 5mins. The Reception and bar area on the ground floor is very spacious with comfortable sofas...

Cuba Playa Caleta: Hotel and Service from Hell!
Advantages: Could not find any
Disadvantages: A streessful, sickening, waste of time and money
...February 2009. Playa Caleta is rated a 4 star. Sunwing Travel advertises it as a Sunwing Club Exclusive...whatever that means? We would call it the ?Club Torture?
The hotel has a spacious, open-concept lobby on two levels. The lobby and the rest of the hotel are filled with cigarette smoke. When we asked the front desk staff if there was any non-smoking public areas, they answered with giggles as they held their lit cigarettes below the counter. This is supposed to be a family hotel; if you or your children can survive the second-hand smoke that saturates everything, you will still have a family.
Buses idled right in front of the open hotel entrance, filling the lobby with carbon monoxide. As we discovered, vehicles in Cuba have no exhaust standards. From scooters to buses, they all spew black or blue smoke.
ROOM: There are...
