I am a fairly energetic young lady, with a clothes size of 14 on top and 12 from the waist down....makes buying dresses a nightmare, but heh that's another story. Great if your baby cant sit up yet

Advantages: Can be used before baby can sit up, easy to clean, easy to transport, has a tray for toys, choice of three positions, not too expensive
Disadvantages: doesnt fold flat, tray tilts when reclined, not that comfy

...I bought this chair for my son twelve moths ago as I needed a chair that would recline as he can't sit up unaided. This was the best travel highchair on the market at the time and it's still used a lot in our house. We were always told by staff in shops that babies have to be able to sit unaided before they can use most highchairs or booster seats but this solves that problem. The chair comes flat packed in a box but once you put it together you cant fold it flat again. Even so it's not that big and you can take it pretty much anywhere. Before we got the chair it was difficult to take my son out for meals with us as once of us would have to hold him all the time. ...personal opinion and please don't take it for anything else. The only relevance it has to the review is that this seat has beenn indeed obtained second-hand. Primo Viaggio is a first stage rear facing car seat which will theoretically serve a child till about 10-13 kg (1 year old) but for most people will probably be used up to about 6 months. The distinguishing feature of this seat is the fact that it's a 'click-in' one, which means that you have a base that can stay permanently in the car and a seat proper that can be very easily taken out and put in without a need to do much threading of the webbing. The seat can be also clipped onto the relevant Mamas and Papas chassis to become a part of a travel system.
