Don't Forget Your Jacket!

Advantages: Fairly strong cast, a little different to the norm, psychological undertones, tension
Disadvantages: Something missing, underdeveloped characters, plot/explanations not tight enough

...The Jacket is another little-known-about film I came across but was interested in as I'm a fan of the psychological thriller type films. This was directed by John Maybury, who seems to have worked on a number of director roles but for films I haven't heard of before. Overall, it's a bit of a weird one and although it falls short on some levels, it was entertaining enough to give a go. The basic premise is that there's Gulf War veteran by the name of Jack Starks (played by Adrian Brody) whose head wound has left him with some sort of amnesia and time disruption. He's been told he's being charged with the killing of a policeman, for which he's sent to a mental institution as a dangerous criminal. Review of The Jacket (DVD)

Quality outdoor jacket

Advantages: Great quality
Disadvantages: The price!

...Barbour jacket Little Miss was after aBarbour jacket, it being the ?must have ? accessory in her eyes. Given that she goes horse riding and does like the outdoors, I decided it would be a good investment as long as she didn?t lose it! This jacket is the waxed version although it does come in the quilted version, and when we first bought it, to me it felt a bit stiff and not at all like a cosy winter coat, although as time has gone on and she has worn the jacket it seems to have softened and almost moulded to her so apparently it is a really comfortable fit and feels lovely and warm. We have the size large which is about an age 10-11, and the jacket is available for ages 2-15 and then goes into adult sizes. It is a biker style jacket with a lift up and button...

Review of Barbour International Waxed Jacket

A fashionable jacket that's also practical

Advantages: Looks good, surprisingly warm without being too big and bulky, waterproof
Disadvantages: Could do with some inside pockets

...A fashonable jacket that's also practical I was looking for a new jacket but I am extremely fussy with what sort I will wear. I want something fashionable but preferably not the same one that every second person is wearing as if I am spending a lot of money on something then I would rather it and I stood out and not fade into the background. The other thing is that although I do want something warm I hate jacket that are too big and make me feel claustrophobic.
