The perfect budget cleanser for all skin types!

Advantages: Thoroughly cleanse leaving skin velvet to touch, it's purse friendly, it smells lovely, perfect!
Disadvantages: Glass jar was a bit awkward for a butter fingers like me!

...I have extremely problematic skin prone to every affliction under the sun from acne, blackheads and oiliness to dryness, ezcema and flakiness sometimes all at the same time! In desperation I have tried every brand of face cleanser going, for every skin type; nivea, garnier, clearisil, simple neutrogena, liz earle naturally active( not cheap), boots own , superdrugs own, asdas own, tescos own to name but a few. I had heard of ponds cold cleansing cream before but thought it was a bit old lady for me, and sitting amongst the pretty pots in boots it looked a little bland. Review of Ponds Cold Cream Cleanser

Gorgeous crème cleanser for velvety skin!

Advantages: Cleans skin, removes make up, moisturising.
Disadvantages: Little pricey, but you get what you pay for!

...of this cleanser goes a long long way, but I am a greedy girl and always use far to much because it feels so nice - but I am sure it could last someone months and months depending on how often they used it! It has a beautiful texture, very smooth and velvety and goes on well - it holds its consistency very well. After using this product my skin is always gorgeously smooth and feels very very clean. It always removes all traces of makeup, including waterproof mascara which is a big bonus! I have normal/combination skin, and it dosent dry it out, it would be very good for dry skin as it is so moisturising! The sample was supposed to last me 3 weeks, but it has lasted me 2 months! clarins cleanser

Advantages: fresh feeling
Disadvantages: nothing special

...This was part of a gift set with a clarins soap and a face cream all with the same packaging. I had never used clarins facial stuff before, I only use their lipliners which are fabulous. Clarins claim on their magazine adverts that this is like a soap and water experience. And it is. Its very lightly perfumed and gives you the sensation of applying s soapy lather. Now I have very sensitive skin and I usually have to pay a lot for my facial creams. For cleansers I usually use' simple' products because they are so delicate. Although they dry out my skin. With Clarins it was the forst time that Ive found a cleanser which doesnt give me any spots and doesnt majorly dry out my skin. It slightly dries my skin but I have very dry skin anyway. I think if you have normal or oily skin this would be ideal. In terms of price it is overpriced...

Clarins Gentle Foaming Cleanser Dry or Sensitive - my review

Advantages: cleansing but very gentle, no tightness or irritation
Disadvantages: lack of scent

...There are three Clarins Gentle Foaming Cleansers, the dry/sensitive one is the peach coloured tube which says 'with shea butter'. I asked for two samples, the dry/sensitive and the one for normal/combination, after testing both on my dry sensitive skin I ended up buying a full sized tube of the dry/sensitive as the other left my skin feeling tight. Clarins Gentle Foaming Cleanser for dry or sensitive skin contains shea butter and Pro-vitamin B5, it has also been formulated to soften hard water which is more gentle for your skin. What I love most about this cleanser is that you only need the tiniest bit for one use, it foams up surprisingly well applied to a wet face and forms a longlasting lather so that you can take your time to really massage it in, then you just rinse off with warm or cold water. A great cleanser for sensitive skins

Advantages: Very gentle, soothing and refreshing
Disadvantages: Doesn't remove every last trace of dirt

...It's too often the case that for a cleanser to work really effectively it is rather harsh on the skin, or it manages to be gentle but fails to remove all the dirt from the pores. Sadly, I've not found a product that manages to defy this logic in Decleor's Cleansing Water but nonetheless I have found a good quality product that is great for sensitive skins. Decleor say that it "will minimise the risk of irritation, and will help to calm your skin while bathing it in freshness and softness" and is "gentle on your sensitive and reactive skin", so it's clearly a product that is meant for sensitive skin that is easily irritated.
