Garnier Skin Naturals Bodytonic Firming Lotion

Advantages: moisturises, tones, firms skin, non-greasy, lovely fresh citrus fragrance
Disadvantages: A tard expensive if you are to use regularly and on most of the body

...I started using 'Garnier Bodytonic Firming Lotion' when I was going to the gym last year. I would use it after a shower following a work out and steam in the sauna to finish off the gym sessions. Garnier Bodytonic Firming Lotion comes in a bright yellow opaque bottle with a white flip-top cover. The front of the bottle has the 'Garnier Skin Naturals' logo displayed at the top with a small section of a green leaf displayed and these are what stands out most when you see it on the shelf. Skin firming lotion - not for me!

...Whilst doing my weekly shopping in Tesco I was looking in the health and beauty part, I was actually looking for my normal brand of firming cream. (I am not overweight but after having children by C Sections I think I have "baggy skin" on my stomach) . I have only used two bottles of the other brand and probably don't put it on as often as it tells you to. As I was looking I came across St Ives Swiss Formula skin firming body lotion on offer. It was £1.74 which was half price, a lot cheaper than what I was going to pay. The fact that it says swiss formula made me think that it would be good and even if it didn't work my skin would be well moisturised. Nivea firming lotion

...I fell in love with the Nivea Firming Lotion when I saw the advert promising firmer skin, I was going on holiday a few week after I saw the advert I was going away so I thought Id nip to my local drugstore which I paid £6.99 for 300ml to buy the product as I wanted my skin to look as good as possible for my jolly hols. The lotion comes in two bottle sizes I recommend you buy the bigger sized lotion as it works out cheaper then buying a few of the small. I used quiet a lot of this product because it says on the bottle to use it all over the body. I really liked the feel of this lotion on my skin as it was very cooling and very easy to rub in. I advice that if you do buy the product don't make the same mistake I made and squeeze the lotion out hard as you end up with lots on your hands, and it can become a bit messy. I don't think...

A Bargain Lotion for Dry Skin

...I bought this to deal with the skin on my legs which has become increasingly dry of late (well, that's what happens when you neglect to use a proper skincare regimen through the harsh winter months!). The main reason I chose this particular lotion was the fact that it was so cheap at only £1.95 for a 300ml bottle. The lotion comes in a transparent bottle which makes it easy to see exactly how much you have left, with a pump-action dispenser on top. I find this type of dispenser much more convenient than the usual squeezy bottles, as it gives a controlled amount so you don't end up with too much lotion that will take forever to sink into your skin. I personally find that pressing the top once gives me just the right amount to cover one leg from ankle to knee. Boots say that this lotion is formulated with natural extracts of cocoa...

...Fabulous! Have used Garnier's firming lotion 1 month prior to holiday ths summer and also used as an aftersun while i away. Some firming lotions are sticky and take long to dry in to skin. Garnier have some how produced a refreshing lotion, which sinks into the skin immediatley has a lovely fragrance and great results. In past 6 weeks i have noticed a change in skin tone and firmness on tops of legs and top of arms, some products you love for one reason or another,but with this i feel i have the full package and use this lotion daily. Colleagues have commented on the sweet fragrance and my partner is v. pleased with the subtle results, but more the confidence i gained since using this. big thanks to Garnier.....you made my summer easier to bare, first time my legs have been on show for far too long! also fab value for money!...

Nivea Firming Lotion

Advantages: Love the feel of the lotion and they way it leaves my skin.
Disadvantages: Can't think of any

...I bought this product whilst on holiday. I had forgotten to pack my usual body moisturiser and decided that I didn't want to spend too much. What a find this product was. It is not too highly scented and gows right into the skin within seconds, does not leave any residue on my skin and to top it off, my skin feels wonderful. Within a few days I noticed the feel of my skin had changed and that I was feeling a bit more confident within myself as I knew that I was looking better. I would never have thought to buy this produce before but will not be without it now. The bottle is so handy that you can actually keep one in your handbag (if like me you have everything but the kitchen sink anyway). Top marks to Nivea for this product. I shall be adding one to all my friends and family's christmas presents this year for a treat....

Simply soft but failing firm.

...I'm an old hand with these "Firming" lotions now and really I should have enough experience to know better and stop being sucked in by all the hype. I've tried products to lift, soften, firm, make me appear more youthful and generally most of them have the same results- failure! Yet I still get seduced by promises of firmer skin, I've had 2 kids you see and despite all my best attempts at exercise after their births there are still parts of me that I'm not happy with and wouldn't mind giving a little help, hey to look at me you'd think everything was great, I've still got a good figure after having the kids and am a little underweight if anything, I guess that just goes to prove that all body types can have their insecurities, I guess that's why I still buy these kind of products even when I am suspicious of their claims. ...This product really is great and really does work. I have used many different firming lotions in the past but this Nivea lotion is by far the best. After about a week a could easily see the difference it has made to my skin around my legs. As well as firming this also acts as a great moisturize . This product also great value for money, I bought mine about 2 weeks ago and I am still using and loving it!. The cream comes out it a good size proportion and feels great when it touches your skin, as soon as you rub it into your skin your skin feels a whole lot better. Another great quality about this is the smell, some of the creams i have used in the past don't smell the best, but this has a beautiful natural smell. In conclusion i think the product is great and would recommend it to anyone....
