Men In Skirts...

Advantages: Great set pieces, battles, vistas etc.
Disadvantages: Girls, get a grip! It's just Braveheart in Rome!

Everyone tells me that this is a rip-roaring period piece with romance, revenge, huge battles, loss, and hunky men in skirts. Starting to sound familiar? TOLD YOU SO. The battles, the moody lip tremors, the unquenchable revenge against a tyrannical establishment, even the skirts. Ridley's been doing his homework. Having said all that, Gladiator is indeed a marvellous way to kill a couple of hours. It truly impresses, from the flyover of ancient Rome to the gladiatorial contests; there are some stunning set pieces. Crowe is engaging and believable, a genuinely fine actor (LA Confidential etc,) and deserves his praise. But Oscar winning direction? The names sound like Life Of Brian. Review of Gladiator (DVD)

Is skirt off sick Jones

Advantages: The cast, the soundtrack etc etc
Disadvantages: None

...of whom says the F word rather a lot but its very funny so can be excused and one is a gay man who once had a one hit wonder in the eighties. Near the beginning of the film she starts passing emails to Daniel Cleaver because of what he calls "her non existent skirt" this is actually a very memorable part of the film. Likewise the fight scene on her birthday, hilarious! Other truly side splitting scenes include the Blue soup one (you'll have to watch it to find out about that) and the big granny knickers one (again you must watch to see what I mean) and there are lots of others. All the way through this film, which is a year in Bridget's life she worries about her weight, job, calories eaten, alcohol consumed and cigarettes smoked. She also worries about her single status. This film is along the lines of Notting Hill and Four Weddings...

...She-Gods of Shark Reef is a Roger Corman film from 1958. Corman being a famous director of low-budget horror films The Little Shop of Horrors perhaps being his best known. This film starts off with one of our main characters Jim and his turbaned sidekick stealthily manoeuvring around a docks, taking out guards and stealing guns. Quite a scuffle takes place and Jim has to escape. His brother Chris helps him escape on his boat and whilst out at sea the two run into a storm and their ship is wrecked. Purchasing a Denim Skirt

Advantages: ordering on-line is quicker and more effective and also easy to access to the site

...I looked through the Argos Additions site and noticed a product that I liked and I thought it would be nice to purchase the item for the summer months. It was the Demin Skirt which is ankle length and has frilled edges down the front and at the bottom. It also has a added belt at the front which under that is the zip fasning when putting on the garment. It gives you plenty of room to move when wearing I found waering the skirt myself very comfortable. It is reasonably priced and it is in sizes from 8 to 16. The colour is nice also a stone wash colour (light blue) with white frilling along the skirt. Dharam Veer - Camp Guys in Tights and Mini-Skirts

Advantages: Light-hearted entertainment
Disadvantages: Story hard to stomach, acting rather dodgy...

...meeting our two heroines. Dharam pairs up with Princess Pallavi and Veer pairs up with gipsy Roopa, just to complicate things further. Will the evil royal uncle get his way? Will the two friends realise they are twin brothers? Will I get over the shock of seeing Dharmendra in a mini-skirt throughout this film? WHAT DID I MAKE OF IT ALL? Well the acting in this film made me chuckle, I don?t recall laughing so much at this film when I first saw it in the 80s but the acting came across as really camp when I watched this again recently. The doll comes with the cat Jetty, Genevieve's best friend and is on a rope hanger so you can hang it on things, its not your usual small, thin plastic toy that you get as an added extra, it is quite tough and a fair size. This Barbie takes batteries, which the compartment is on the inside of both legs and can be opened with a very small screwdriver and takes AAA batteries, I tell you this as it does not explain this on the box, so like most people at Christmas we didn't have the right batteries and had to take them out of another toy just to make sure it worked, then go out and buy some :( I found this a bit annoying as most toys now a days comes with batteries or at least tells you, so be warned, if you buy this make sure you get some batteries. The reason this barbie takes batteries is the skirt lights up...

All walkers know you should never wear jeans for walking as they retain water and make you feel cold. I have to own up here that I am a fair weather walker. We only go walking when the weather looks good. If en route, we see cloud in the area we are heading for, we will often change direction and head for the sunnier spot. Who wants to walk in the rain? Not me. I don?t really like doing steep climbs either since there are nicer ways of making your heart race. After discussing the matter with a doctor, I decided the risks were minimal compared to the advantages of Mecilon. I am very happy with it as I find that high doses of Oestrogen make me feel depressed, and Mercilon contains a very low dose of this hormone. I have tried other pills before and this one is the only one that works for me. I assure you that I have never become pregnant, and haven't noticed any side effects. No weight gain, no mood swings, nothing! So can wear mini-skirts ( not that I do! ), charm the boys...
