...With the surge in popularity of DVD recorders, it is very hard to notice the humble DVD player nowadays and it comes quite low on the list of 'must-haves'. However, if you are in the market for a good DVD player that is packed with features, the JVC XV-N55SL would be worthy of consideration. We have had ours a couple of years now, but last year it got relegated to the dining room when we purchased our DVD recorder. It is hooked up to a portable TV we have in there but it does not really do justice to the JVC in all fairness. But that's the way things go. If we had room in our lounge under our TV on top of the DVD recorder it would still be there, because it is by far the better player of DVDs. ...How I fell in love with this mobile phone: Still living in Switzerland, I broke my mobile phone and went to a shop looking for a new one. Before, I always had Nokias, but this time I saw the Siemens SL55 and simply wanted it. Because I am not really a technical hero, the looks did it for me to be honest. Looks: You can get this tiny beauty (length x width x height = 81.6 x 44.5 x 21.9 mm) in titan and rubin. It slides open and reveals the keyboard. At the beginning I had to get used to it, as the keyboard is different from a Nokia one. After you get the hang of it, it is easy to use. It has a colour screen, which I like. The Siemens SL55, For all Anti-Bulk mobile lovers

Advantages: Small and Easy to use.
Disadvantages: Can be fiddly to use and expensive

...I decided to buy an SL55 Siemens mobile because of its size. I hate heavy bulky phones that take up all the room in my bag so the SL55 was the way to go. My budget was a little on the small size so I looked up E-Bay and found a refurbished model for £57.00. After a couple of days the phone died on me, so thanks to the dodgy person who sold me the phone, as I’m sure they knew it was broken. I have now learnt a valuable E-Bay lesson. Buy with a guarantee. Snap Happy Samsung!

Advantages: Great camera at a great price.

...I bought this camera in ASDA at the incredible price of £75 in a gorgeous chrome silver colour (pictured). The new advanced siemens

...I use to have a Nokia 6510 and although it is quite a nice phone i wanted a newer phone with more features. I got this new siemens phone because i thought it would be advanced in that it would have most of the features that you would get with other phones. The phone comes in two colours in titan or ruby red. This was so that i wouldnt have to get a newer phone in just a few months time. The phone is quite small and is approximatly 82x45x22mm in size and weighs 79g. It has quite a lot of the normal features such as calculator, stopwatch and messaging and more including MMS, Polyphonic ringtones and Wallpapers/screensavers. Apart from the phone not having picture messaging and a wallet (from my old phone) i think that it is quite a nice little phone with a lot of features.
