Over time it started to annoy me as I had to select some of my CD's to be banished to obscurity (ie not be put onto the player). ...I was first recommended these hair straighteners about 3 years ago by a friend. I had used about 2 different straighteners before and neither seemed to be any good. So I decided to buy the carmengirls super sleek hair straighteners. I was instantly attracted to them, as they were very pink and girly! They came in a black box with a picture of the straighteners and a few diagrams of how to use them - which I found very useful and helpful. Inside the box was a free hair mascara and lip gloss, although I have to admit I have never used them. There was also an instruction book which again proved very useful, however the straighteners are so easy to use that I probably wouldn't have needed the instructions anyway. As a rule I normally tend to stick of Avon Advanced Techniques Straight n Sleek Shampoo and conditioner, or sometimes when I have a few extra pennies, I will treat myself to Umberto Gianini's straightening shampoo and conditioner, however I was in the chemist a week ago and I came across Pantene Pro V Smooth & Sleek Shampoo, which was on offer, half price at £1.50, so I thought I may as well try it out, you never know so at that time I was quite happen with my purchase. Sleek Cream to Overly Powdery & Ashen Complexion :S

Advantages: Lightweight Compact, comes with a sponge applicator, long lasting
Disadvantages: gives an ashen and unnaturally light complexion, dries out skin and highlights dry areas

...the foundation being my complexion. The coverage wasn't fantastic and I still ended up using liquid foundation on top of it, although it did last, but it did not smoothing over as lines appeared during the day and pronounced the creases on my face. The foundation does though last a long time, as only a small application is needed with the sponge provided; bearing in mind a lot of foundation is actually absorbed by the sponge. I decided that the foundation wasn't for me and was quite disappointed as I had hardly used much of it, however I now use it when trying to achieve the natural look and team it with my other favourite foundation and loose powder to compensate for the lack of colour the Sleek Cream to Powder takes away from my complexion and definitely a sweep of bronzer :D The compact is lightweight and the foundation comes with a sponge...

...I have owned this MP3 for at least 18 months now and I'm still finding it to be a fantastic bit of kit to own. I was a bit over ambitious in buying this model, as I have yet to fill it to capacity, however this can only be a good thing as it means you always have plenty of room for new music and photos. The creative zen sleek photo has an MP3 player, radio, voice recorder and photo playback. The MP3 player is very impressive, as you can easily find exactly what you're looking for by artist, album or even genre. All music folders are arranged alphabetically. My Sunsilk shampoo had run out, so I grabbed my sister's Pantene Smooth and Sleek shampoo instead. It comes in a 400ml white bottle with the Pantene logo, and a small paragraph saying "Smooth And Sleek moisturises dry, straight or wavy hair for a smooth and shiny look". ...rinse with cold water for maximum results. After drying, I wasn't that impressed either. It didn't leave my hair particularly soft or sleek. In fact, my hair was more knotted and dry after using this.
