...In December 2005 we travelled up north from Portsmouth to Darlington to see our family, this being a regular event for us as we love travel, and we stayed for a couple of nights in a hotel. It's called Sleep Inn Hotel & Conference Centre Darlington and can be found at the south end of the A167 at Newton Park approximately 35 metres from junction 59 on the A1(M) either north or south exits will get you there. At the entrance to Newton Park you will find a MacDonald's and a petrol station then it's straight on to the hotel and the automatic barrier that lets you into the car park. The hotel is only two and a half years old and is very well lit with it's very neat, clean and tidy landscaping and the very large free car park had plenty of spare places, in fact it was near enough empty. Travel Inn for a premier Night's Sleep

I used this paticular Travel Inn when I was going to a family party and didn't want to travel the 60 miles back home afterwards. Premier Inn - A Good Nights Sleep?

Advantages: Excellent room, facilities and restaurant, easy access to main routes
Disadvantages: Traffic noise, heat in rooms

...We have stayed at Premier Inns in the past and felt fairly confident that we wouldn't be disappointed when booking Premier Inn Parkway in Guildford. Premier Inns offer standard accommodation, so you know pretty much what to expect. They guarantee their customers a 'Good Nights sleep or Money Back' and all come with a restaurant or pub adjoining, to serve residents with breakfast and evening meals. Not Much Sleep To Be Had at The Comfort Inn London

Advantages: It's relatively cheap to stay in the room, so it's not all too bad.
Disadvantages: The staff, the prices in the restaurant, I know it's London, but I was shocked

...in the end, and turned on the air con and stuck in my headphones and still was kept awake by the rumbling noise from it. I actually thought nothing of it until we got to New York, when we were actually in the city that never sleeps, the noise emitted in New York was nothing compared to the room we were in, in the Comfort Inn. I have looked at some other reviews on the hotel, and not many people have many bad things to say about the rooms or anything like that, I think that maybe they were having a problem during this time with their plumbing or something like that, I know we should have complained about it, but we had complained so much about their incompetence when it came to checking in that it would have been a little bit cruel to complain about something else. ...I have never stayed in the Premier Inn before, but I felt I had to share my experience of the past weekend. The staff in both reception and the restaurant were fantastic, they were really helpful and made you feel right at home. The room and bathroom were both spotless, warm and the freeview television meant that my daughter didn't miss her soaps while she was away. The bed was both big and comfortable and we didn't have any trouble getting to sleep. We opted for the breakfast deal and we were not disappointed, the food was well cooked and warm there was also plenty of choice. Access to the hotel was excellent for both able bodied and non-able bodied people, we didn't have a wheelchair but we did have a six month old baby and a pram, and even though it is situated next to Charing Cross rail station we didn't hear a thing from...

Premier Inn - A good nights sleep

Advantages: Easy to get to, good facilities and connections
Disadvantages: Price can be high, book in advance

...The prices are in line with other hotels in the area, and with the Premier Inn rates, although depending on the room I have found these to sometimes be high. The hotel is usually not full in the week, but can get busyat the weekends due to its connections with the wedding venue accross the road. Always book in advance. Overall I would recommend this hotel for any potential user, as the rooms and area are maintained to a high standard, with comfortable beds and modern rooms. The hotel is also close to many other restaurants and shopping areas should you wish to venture, and the A12, meaning it is easy to get to, or a good stop off on a journey to London. ...This week I stayed at the Holiday Inn Camden Lock for three nights while I was in London for work. My only previous trips to London have had me staying in the ExCel Novotel in Docklands so this was a new experience for me. LOCATION The hotel is located in Camden, next to (predictably!) Camden Lock. It is about a five minute walk from Camden Town tube station, which makes it fairly convenient if you?re having to use public transport to reach it. The website states that the hotel is also outwith the congestion zone, which I guess means you could drive down to the hotel and then use it as a base to get elsewhere using the tube or buses. (Although its worth noting that the website also states the car parking facility is 1km away!) As it is right off the main street, it is very handy for all the shops, restaurants and bars too.
