...Around four months ago I travelled to London to do a photo shoot, I was very excited as I had been out of modelling for a while but I was also very nervous as I had not worked with the photographer before and was staying in a hotel I had never used before also. The shoot went very well and the hotel I stayed in was beautiful so all was good in the end. The hotel in question was the Sleeping Beauty Hotel; Ciao has called it the sleeping beauty motel but it was definitely hotel on the brochure, anyway never mind. The hotel is situated in Leyton which is in the East of London, so not a hotel you would be likely to use for a typical sightseeing holiday to London as you are well away from the attractions. Nearby the hotel is a KFC, a Wetherspoon`s bar, a Tesco store and a closed down Woolworths, so nothing too exciting but this was...

Sleeping Beauty

Advantages: Wonderful songs, great animation
Disadvantages: More for the girls!

...A beautiful Disney film. I have to say, I could really feel the Disney magic and charm when I watched this film. I absolutely love it, it is a timeless classic. It has a wonderful soundtrack which was adapted from the Tchaikovsky score and classic Disney songs that everyone knows the words to! The story revolves around the Princess Aurora, who at her birth receives presents from the good fairies of wit and beauty, but the wicked fairy who is angry at not being invited to the birth puts an enchantment on the Princess that she will prick her finger on a spindle on reaching adulthood and die. Although the spell can't be reversed, the good fairies manage to alter the spell so that she won't die, but fall in to a deep sleep until awoken by the kiss of a Prince. Of course, she pricks her finger on a spindle, despite the Kingdom burning...

...Well you are going to start seeing quite a few reviews of Barbie products from me, as my as my daughter has quite a collection, every time she sees something Barbie I have to buy it. So when she asked for this doll how could I refuse? The doll came neatly packaged, and very presentable; the only problem I had was with getting the doll out of the box loll. Now I know that sounds stupid, but the amount of things they tie them to the box with is very frustrating, it took me about 15 minutes just to get everything out loll. So in the box the doll came complete in a beautiful long dress, also wearing a tiara. The box also came complete with a tiara for my daughter to wear, and also a classical music cd that has never been played loll. Beauty Sleep in a Bottle

Advantages: Easy to blend, natural looking, lightweight, gives skin a healthy glow
Disadvantages: No SPF, only comes in 5 shades, takes ages to set

...Sleep Effect is one of the first ones (out of 21) that has a shade that suits me. There are three reasons why have been looking for a new foundation (apart from curiosity). Firstly I decided last year that I would be better off with an oil free foundation. I have oily skin and I hoped an oil free foundation would combat the issue I have with shine and my foundation melting, and hopefully stop me from having breakouts. Secondly I am getting married next May and I need a foundation that will last all day without sliding off, will cover all my imperfections and generally make me look perfect but at the same time natural (quite a big ask). The sleeping beauty effect!

Advantages: smoothing, awakening, good texture..everything for me!
Disadvantages: only 5 colours mean it's not the right shade for everyone

...with that caked on effect - it's very much improving rather than totally covering. It made my skin feel soft, and very smooth - I do have the odd blemish but it in no way made them appear worse than they are, as is the case with some foundations. Removal: I just use face wash, it comes off easily - I'm sure the same would apply to those using liquid cleanser or a face wipe. A quick story: At my old Saturday job I used to start at midday. This is by no means early but believe me, if your me and you've had a heavy night you tend to look slightly rough whatever time it is! My supervisor often used to comment on this look that I had going (also known as, I don't care, I only get paid £3.81 an hour, I don't need to look good). Advantages: light , quick and easy to inflate/deflate, extremely comfortable
Disadvantages: initial outlay is a little expensive but not unreasonably so.

...This is a sleeping pad and is rather like an inflatable air mattress in many ways. We backpack in many places and our favourite way, when we have the time, is to hike for several days. When we do this we have to carry everything with us that we need and as you can imagine every ounce counts. I must admit that I do like a bit of comfort and the Big Agnes REM Air Core Pad does supply this (REM just stands for ?rest easy mama). Big Agnes make 2 types of air core pad, the rectangular and the mummy. The mummy pad tapers at the ends and is a similar shape to a coffin.
