Advantages: Wonderful songs, great animation
Disadvantages: More for the girls!

...A beautiful Disney film. I have to say, I could really feel the Disney magic and charm when I watched this film. I absolutely love it, it is a timeless classic. It has a wonderful soundtrack which was adapted from the Tchaikovsky score and classic Disney songs that everyone knows the words to! The story revolves around the Princess Aurora, who at her birth receives presents from the good fairies of wit and beauty, but the wicked fairy who is angry at not being invited to the birth puts an enchantment on the Princess that she will prick her finger on a spindle on reaching adulthood and die. Although the spell can't be reversed, the good fairies manage to alter the spell so that she won't die, but fall in to a deep sleep until awoken by the kiss of a Prince. Of course, she pricks her finger on a spindle, despite the Kingdom burning...

Review of Sleeping Beauty (DVD)

I was their sleeping beauty!

Advantages: Clean and tidy and very friendly.
Disadvantages: No restaurant.

...Around four months ago I travelled to London to do a photo shoot, I was very excited as I had been out of modelling for a while but I was also very nervous as I had not worked with the photographer before and was staying in a hotel I had never used before also. The shoot went very well and the hotel I stayed in was beautiful so all was good in the end. The hotel in question was the Sleeping Beauty Hotel; Ciao has called it the sleeping beauty motel but it was definitely hotel on the brochure, anyway never mind. The hotel is situated in Leyton which is in the East of London, so not a hotel you would be likely to use for a typical sightseeing holiday to London as you are well away from the attractions. Nearby the hotel is a KFC, a Wetherspoon`s bar, a Tesco store and a closed down Woolworths, so nothing too exciting but this was...

Legendary (American Beauty (DVD))

Advantages: Excellent acting, directing, storyline...the list goes on!
Disadvantages: none

Advantages: Classic fairytale
Disadvantages: One of the more old fashioned Disney films

Understanding A Beautiful Mind.

Advantages: An excellent award winning drama, based on a true story.
Disadvantages: None!

...My Reason For Purchasing A Beautiful Mind DVD. I wrote this review a year or so ago for another review site which has since closed. I thought I would upload it here as A Beautiful Mind is one of my favourite Drama films ever and I just wanted to recommend it and give some opinions on it. ...Well you are going to start seeing quite a few reviews of Barbie products from me, as my as my daughter has quite a collection, every time she sees something Barbie I have to buy it. So when she asked for this doll how could I refuse? The doll came neatly packaged, and very presentable; the only problem I had was with getting the doll out of the box loll. Now I know that sounds stupid, but the amount of things they tie them to the box with is very frustrating, it took me about 15 minutes just to get everything out loll. So in the box the doll came complete in a beautiful long dress, also wearing a tiara. The box also came complete with a tiara for my daughter to wear, and also a classical music cd that has never been played loll. My daughter loves this doll, and will play with it for hours, she loves brushing her hair, and just...

A Beautiful Dream

Advantages: Has all the old-fashioned romantic charm
Disadvantages: Villain might be a little too scary for kids

...Sleeping Beauty is probably my favourite Disney cartoon of all time. Some people might find it a tad bit old fashioned but that is what makes the movie so beautiful. In honour of their newborn daughter, King Stephen and his Queen had invited the whole kingdom and guests from distant lands to a feast in their castle. Beauty Sleep in a Bottle

Advantages: Easy to blend, natural looking, lightweight, gives skin a healthy glow
Disadvantages: No SPF, only comes in 5 shades, takes ages to set

...Sleep Effect is one of the first ones (out of 21) that has a shade that suits me. There are three reasons why have been looking for a new foundation (apart from curiosity). Firstly I decided last year that I would be better off with an oil free foundation. I have oily skin and I hoped an oil free foundation would combat the issue I have with shine and my foundation melting, and hopefully stop me from having breakouts. Secondly I am getting married next May and I need a foundation that will last all day without sliding off, will cover all my imperfections and generally make me look perfect but at the same time natural (quite a big ask). And thirdly, and currently the most urgent reason, L'Oreal have discontinued Translucide, so I have to find a replacement whether I like it or not.
