Disadvantages: uxbridge staff have a limited grasp of the english language, they are unhelpful, never return calls on time, do not stick to delivery dates.

As the compensation had risen to £70 I decided to wait a further two weeks. The day before the delivery I received another call from Vicram to repeat the whole process over and over again. I was now beginning to imagine this man had a tape recorded message which was set on repeat. By now my boys could not take anymore nights on the floor in a sleeping bag. I then ordered two cabin beds from Argos online. I ordered them on a Sunday night and they phoned me 45 minuted later...

  The Complete Bed

Advantages: Quick to inflate
Disadvantages: Cover may not be sufficient for the winter months

...these things called Ready Beds and they were easily stored and easy to use, so we thought this would be a good idea. I think the only thing we was slightly concerned about was the size because of the limited space that we have in Ben's room as it is like being Toys R Us, but we thought we would have a look around and see what we could find. We had a look through the Argos catalogue and found they had what we were looking for so we went to our local store to purchase one but I couldn't believe it when they told me they were out of stock, what was going on, a mad rush on Ready Beds due to sleep-over's or what?? I text a few other stores that were local to me to see if they had them in stock, but unfortunately they didn't have it, so I think it was going to be the case that the child minder would have to suffer another night on the sofa...

It's a Bed...

...and footboard, one was easy, but the next meant you had to try and hold the headboard up, whilst supporting the beam, and then putting the bolt through and doing it up. I know I struggled. With that done, it was then just a case of putting all the support struts across, which again was nice and simple. It was just a case of lots of bolts. All Alan keys were included. The bed-knobs things screwed on ? and voila! My Sleepy Times I have had the bed for nearly a year now, and have slept on it most nights. While Mum thinks the basic mattress is horrible ? I am not particularly fussed, since a bed is a bed to me, and I can get a good night sleep in a bush, bus stop, window frame, pool table, under a dining table, kitchen floor, bath and other such places, although, I did put an old sleeping bag over it, which does make it that much more...

Disadvantages: Could be a little high for someone small & elderly

Dreams & The Sleep Depot were both near our home in Farnborough, Hampshire & had beds at good prices that we were interested in. On 26.07.07 we went to Dreams first & tried a few beds but were not completely happy with any, my husband prefers a softish bed & I like a firm bed. We enquired about delivery dates & the assistant at Dreams said 8th of August, my husband asked if that was definate & he said well maybe 8th, maybe 9th or 10th - we left. I was their sleeping beauty!

Advantages: Clean and tidy and very friendly.
Disadvantages: No restaurant.

.... Whilst all the decor is a bit dated and the overall look of the place might not appeal to some people, I found it very comfortable throughout. The beds were very comfy and I got a great nights sleep and the rest of the hotel left me feeling comfortable and relaxed too making it a great stay and a hotel I would therefore recommend to others looking for a simple room for the night!...

The Mothercare Sleep Body Pillow has been a godsend, it may have been a quite large outlay at £29.99, especially as cheaper versions can be purchased on-line for as little as £9.99. But it is of a much higher quality and a good night?s sleep is something I just couldn?t put a price on. Without this pillow I would get maybe 3 hours broken sleep a night, and be in constant pain while trying to get that sleep. But with the pillow my body is so well supported that I?m able to sleep...

READY, STEADY, GO BED

...I remember when I was younger and used to stay at a friends and had to sleep on the floor because of lack of bedspace within the house. Well my daughter is reaching the age now where she wants her friends to stay and I was determined to have enough beds to accomodate all. We had a look round in the shops at the various range of campbeds and blow-up beds before settling on "The Ready Bed". My daughter could hardly contain her excitement when she saw the range that was available and in the end we decided on the "Groovy Chick" design to match in with her bedroom wallpaper, and she was determined that she would be the first to test it out that very night. If you had seen how many there were available to chose from now, including Babie, Thomas the Tank Engine and disney designs you would realise why it took us so long to settle on this...

...My son received on of these for Christmas from a friend of mine. She said it would become a practical present and oh my it has been. The design The design on our one is of In the night garden every childs favorite at the moment I think, Although I do believe they come in different choices, such as Fifi, Thomas the tank, Noddy, Dora and various other characters. My first ready bed has been very well designed it has a built in headboard designed for extra comfort, safety bolsters either side designed so the little un cant roll out, has an air filled mattress and a removable cover which is machine washable at 30 degrees. To inflates the bed is simple as it comes with its own foot pump, and believe me it only takes 4-5 mins to inflate. Deflation takes a little longer but is simple to do just roll the bed and make the air come out...
