GOOD BITS I think Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream (hereafter refered to as EA8 lest my fingers drop off) is honestly the best thing since sliced bread. It's one of those things you can't see any earthly good in until you experience it for yourself, at which point you convert whole heartedly to the inherent Eight Hour religion. I am one such convert. EA8 is really whatever you want it to be. More of a salve than a cosmetic, it is primarily used to "soothe minor skin irritations" and "for symptoms of chapping, peeling or flaking due to minor burns, sunburn, windburn, scrapes, abrasions or cracked lips" as suggested by the blurb...

...I first mentioned Burgen bread almost in passing as a tasty wrapping for fish finger sandwiches. But the bread is such a great product that it deserves a review of its own. What was the best thing BEFORE sliced bread?

Best thing since sliced bread?

Advantages: Still good and sticky
Disadvantages: Not so much fun

...it every couple of months when I get bored with cereals or crumpets for breakfast. This week, on my usual trawl around Sainsbury?s, I spotted the malt loaf next to the Brioche and crumpets and decided that I fancied that sticky treat again. Next to the usual pack was another, different version, although still made by Soreen. This new version was called ?Sliced and Easy? and boasted that it was 97% fat free. I picked up the sliced pack, but then thought, ?Oooh, I could do an op on this? and promptly put the original pack in my trolley also. Now, how addicted to Ciao is that! So here I am, doing the op. I was looking up on Ciao about the Sliced and Easy version and find that it must have been around for a while, or at least a year as there are already ops on it. Strangely, my local Sainsbury have only just started to stock it...

A slice of bread from home

Advantages: Yery healthy, little fat

...I can´t believe I found this product mentioned here. I love this bread because it reminds me of home. My first experience of Pumpernickel in general was when I was very small and my mother forced it into me in order to eat something "good for me". Though I didn´t get any taller. To be honest at that time I always got the feeling that it is getting more in my mouth while I was chewing it. But then again when you get a little older and more interested in healthy food you come to enjoy it. Bread like pumpernickel compared to white bread has more fibre and you feel saturated after two slices. I tend to eat plenty slices of white bread as it doesn´t fill my "belly" very well. Kelderman Pumpernickel is a rye bread produced in the Netherlands and you can buy it only sliced and not in every shop. The packaging is mostly very plain...

Asda Tiger bread yummmmm

Advantages: Freshly cooked in store
Disadvantages: Goes stale quite quickly

...Asda's Tiger Bread is absolutly delicious. It's freshly made in store and at 67p for a 400g loaf and £1 for an 800g loaf the price is perfect. You can also get these loaves sliced in store free and they do the medium and thick slices. I would definatly recommend you get it sliced in store because this bread is so fresh it just squashes when you try cutting it yourself at home. It's got a lovley taste to it, im not sure whatt it is but it tastes totally different to normal bread.
