...It has been brought to my attention after listening to Chris Moyles on Radio 1 that he is coming tothe end of his shelf life. He is no longer the funny shock jock he once was. Now he is the annoying fat bloke on my way home from work. Sound familiar??? Well it should!!! The ginger shock jock of Radio 1 that got too big for his boots went the same way!!! Chris Evans got boring and left long after he annoyed me every morning. These "personalities" as they are called get boring after doing the same routine day in day out for over a year. Real DJs that play MUSIC and dont do stupid gags go on forever. Example? How long has Pete Tong Been at Radio 1???? Because he plays HIS music and not have a collection of half wits that laugh in a sycophantic way in the background at everything the idiot on air is saying. Dont you all agree???... Read review

...My son received this book as a present some weeks back and he loves it. +++ OVERVIEW +++ The board book comes in a large size of about 25cm by 20 cm. It has been carefully designed to have an oval hole towards the top of the book making a 'handle' for children to carry it around. It has 10 pages, some with slides on to cover up the pictures. +++ PICTURES +++ All the pictures are proper photographs of objects and have a solid white or coloured background to match the colour of the page. Some of the pictures have children using objects such as an umbrella, which we all know children love looking at pictures of other children. ...I picked one of these slides up 3 years ago for a tenner secondhand. I thought it was an absolute bargain at first, until I finally visited Toys R Us (Not a common experience for somebody as tight-fisted as me) and saw them for £19.99. Still, I had nothing to complain about. THe secondhand one didn't have a scratch on it. Come to think of it, three years and several hundred fights later, it still doesn't. The slide is very attractive looking, and made of rounded plastic. It has no sharp edges, and the steps have extra lines on for grip. It is turquoise and yellow with pink nuts and bolts, which I believe must have been designed by a small child. In fact my 4-year old chose a very similar colour scheme to wear only today! ...We have a Little Tikes slide that has been in our family for almost 15 years now. That's right I said 15 years. I purchased it way back in 1987 when my oldest son was just learning to walk. Today it has survived through both my sons, my sisters son, and now her 2 year old daughter is enjoying it. Of course Little Tikes is a product brand name that speaks for itself as far as quality and durability goes. They will withstand all types of weather and "abuse" from child play. The basic construction of the Little Tikes Slide is two pieces of molded plastic. The one we have is orange slide, with blue steps. The plastic molding is all safely smooth and rounds without any sharp points that could harm a child or clothing. ...I bought this slide for my sons 2nd birthday, although he didnt really start to use it until about 2.5yrs. He has just recently turned 3 and can't get enough of it. And is for both indoor & outdoor use. The slide look pretty darn good, not overcrowded with colours, which is a great start to teaching your little treasure. It also helps your child develope coordination, balance and strength. The slide comes flat packed but only took my husband about 15mins to assemble it - no tools needed, which is always a relief because you never seem to have the exact one for the job. The dimensions of the slide are H69, W112, D57. This is great because it will easily fit into smaller gardens like my own. Other good features include the fact that you can fold away for easy storage, but to be honest I never fold it away. I don't see the point... Read review

...This is a brilliant sized slide for a wee one, and it is durable too. My son got this slide for his second birthday, he is now 3 and still uses it, as well as my 5-year old niece! So it is durable and good-lasting. (I had thought my son would be bored of a small slide when I got him a bigger one this year, but he still uses it). It is bright colours so it is also a good visual for wee ones. When you buy it, it is still in the box so you have to assemble it yourself but it is fairly straightforward to assemble. Children should be supervised on the slide, although it is quite small so if they do fall they probably won't be too badly hurt. The slide folds so it is easy to take in and out, or easily stored away. The price of the slide is very reasonable too - about £18.99. The age range is from about 2-4, although... Read review

...'t look anything special but once you see the screen all lit up you realize it's actually quite good. The screen is very sharp and this is the bit that initially impressed me the colours are so bright and clear, compared to my previous phone it looks so much more up to date and smart. When the phone is closed you can just see the screen and below that 4 buttons and a big button in the middle, the 2 lower buttons are the standard green and red buttons that are on most phones to answer and finish calls. The only problem with the screen I can find is if you look at it in the sun light it actually looks dull and more black and white than the normal clear and sharp. To get all the other number buttons you just slide the screen up this is very easy and doesn't seem to get stuck, when you do this the buttons also all light up. I must also add... Read review

...When I saw the delight in my sons face as he slid down a slide at his playgroup for the first time, I thought 'I must get him one'. Although he's still little and needs to hold onto your hands as he goes down, I just love to see the joy in his face. Although I had already spent a fortune on his Christmas and swore to my partner I wasn't going to buy anything else, I nipped into the town to see what Argos had to offer. Now, the junior folding slide was in the 'outdoor toys' section, and I new I wouldn't be able to get him out in the garden anytime soon what with the weather, but this one seemed compact enough to keep and use in the house until the summer, if we ever get one here in Scotland. Most people remember the old classic Nokia 3210, quite heavy with its redeeming feature being snake. Since then Nokia has come a long way and I've had several Nokia phones in my time: the good old 3210, a 6210 which was originally intended for business and had a huge memory, a cute 6233 with a 2megapixel camera along with many other features, and finally a 6500 slide.
