PS3 slim

Advantages: Blu-ray, free online, nice extras like vidzone & iplayer. Almost silent operation
Disadvantages: Rubbish controller, still expensive, online nowhere near as good as xbox live

...Well, had the slim for a few weeks now (my 1st ever playstation), personally, I'm a little underwhelmed by it, I've been a gamer since the nintendo game & watch days & owned @ least 1 of the current gen consoles since the Mega Drive(Genesis). Graphically the system has the potential to wipe the floor with the 360, but this is really only going to apply to PS3 exclusives as any software house making a multi-platform game is going to be as cost effective (lazy) as possible & use the same graphics on all the games where possible(ok, they need to dumb them down for the Wii). My problem here is that I have yet to get a game for it that runs in 1080P, they all seem to be in 720P! Why???? I'm sure they are out there, but I haven't found one yet. I guess this is down to most HD tv's being HD ready rather than Full HD. Sound-Yeah, ok...

...It got to thestage where I had to do something about my weight. I had finished working, and got a bit lethargic at home all day, hence the weigt piled on. I saw an ad for Slimming World in the local shop, and it was held just along the road from where live. I plucked up courage and went along to the group, on the Tuesday evening. I was welcombed warmly by everybody, and listened to the introductory talk. It all souded very good, but a little unbelievable. They were saying that you could lose 4/7 pounds a week!! I needed to lose 3 stone, and if that was the case, it wouldn't take too long to get it off. So I joined, and the following week, lo and behold lost 6 lbs. Amazing. Advantages: Excellent choice in food
Disadvantages: £4.50 per week and a £10 joining fee

...I have been a memeber of slimming world since september 2007 and i am still attending every wee which for me is an achievement in itself. Slimming world is a slimming club that you pay a weekely fee to attend this fee is £4.50 which can become quite expensive but they do offer count down packages where you pay for your weeks in advance and can get weeks for free. For me i joined slimming world after I gained lots of weight after having my son and also through a diet of mainly high fat, high sugar foods which i am now not ashamed to admit. Life for us was pretty much one big takeaway so in september I decided that I needed to do something about it so off i went to my local group in Barry. Advantages: Good way to lose weight, Support groups to help, Motivated and Enthusiastic Leaders
Disadvantages: It is thought to be expensive, but you are getting a lot of support.

I'd tried other diets before, and the weight came off, but as soon as I stopped going to the meetings it all piled back on. I decided to go to Slimming World as 2 other women where I work had started the week before. From what they said it sounded simple and so I went along. The meetings are weekly, and living in Southampton, there were loads of meetings to choose from. They have them most days of the week and at different times, so you can choose when and where you go. Going with friends has been really good for me. As quite a shy person, I probably wouldn't go on my own, so its a good thing to have people you know with you. ...I purchased the S2012 Professional Slim Straighteners approximately five months ago, and I have no complains about it!! The come with Tourmaline - Ceramic and Teflon coated plates, which do not develop split ends or give you a rough feel. They have Nano silver for straight shiny styles and healthy looking hair. Has a top temperature of 210ºC - be very careful, they heat up in 60 seconds and they become very hot. It has a heat protection stand that is very good; you don't have to worry about your carpet being burnt as the stand holds the straightener away from the surface that it is placed on. Once switched on, a red indicator light appears, so you clearly know when the straightners are one. The outcome of using these strengtheners are fantastic, when I straighten my hair, I am left with no bumps, flicks or dodgy areas...
