Its NOT just a SLOT

Advantages: Speed. Slot loading.
Disadvantages: None so far

...So the Pioneer 106S - the S standing for slot drive which i must admit is the main reason for me purchasing this. I did own its predecessor the Pioneer 104-S however i had to replace this because the laser eventually just gave up, it was about 3 years old although i wouldn't have expected it to do this. However i am aware all lasers wear out eventually. This previous problem made me a little reluctant to stick with another Pioneer but as i was such a great fan of the slot loading drive system (why aren't all cd drives like this?) I couldn't resist. The Pioneer DVD 106-S is a 16x DVD drive which i think is still just about the fastest on the market, it also reads normal CDs or CD/R / CD-RW at 40X. There is a lot more to the speed of the drive than those normally displayed on the front however, there is access times to consider...

There's even a website somewhere in dedication! Brian is the flat's toaster, who we were gifted with around 2 months ago when our other toaster stopped working. There's a slight chance, of course, that it's my fault for being such a toast fiend that it eventually refused to work but we won't tell the landlord that... What does Brian look like? Well, he's a lovely white thing, that doesn't take up that much space on the counter, with a fetching mint green button / lever thing that you push down to make the toast go down, 2 lengthways slots that can house 2 slices of bread in each, a little mint green dial at the side there numbered 1 through to 6, and a wee mint green button...

...in my opinion this is an economical toaster, has many slots so i can feed the kids and their greedy friends breakfast in no time... looking forward to many specialized toasters also like the MICKEY MOUSE TOASTER . many poeple still love mickey mouse he's timeless and the toaster plays music when it pops up that'll keep on smile on your face, then you can definately start the day off right. may poeple like the specialty products with the characters on them. oh yeah by the way if the made all toasters with some sort of music like the MICKEY MOUSE TOASTER , that way poeple always wake up with a smile on their faces... thanks, p.s. keep on coming out with these great products so i will neve have to go to the store... gotta sit home and watch the SOAPS.. lol...

A good buy - if you have the required slot

Advantages: Great value for money, solid connection, antenna on a cable, access point mode.
Disadvantages: If you don't have a PCI-Express slot, don't buy it!
