...WWE Smackdown Vs RAW 2007 PS2 I bought this for my son the other day. Well sort of true, I wanted it as much as he did. First thing I noticed was they have changed the controls from the previous versions. It uses a new "Analogue control system". It's not easy in the beginning but after a while you pick it up. There is an option at the beginning showing you all the new way to use the "Analogue control system". The moves are made by the sticks, the left is for moving the wrestler and the right is for grappling etc. A small tip if you're not happy with the new system if you go to the options for changing your setup and go to controller and choose "type d" it goes back to the old buttons as in WWE 2006 :). ...The graphics are amazing, the last wrestling game I played was Smackdown 2. But unfortunately for Smackdown Vs Raw, Smackdown 2 was much better! Let me explain: 1) Season mode is farr too easy and is finished very fast, if you restart season mode its basically the same story each time whatever superstar you use. 2) You cannot go backstage in matches! 3) theres less stuff you can do like its more difficult to put people through announcers tables 4) Backstage there is only 1 backstage place you can play thats the car park which is good but far too limited. ...To put it bluntly this is the greatest wrestling game ever created and it puts all the others to shame. The graphics are realistic, the similarities from wrestler (in game) to actual wrestler is uncanny. I've wastedmany an hour on this game already. The people of THQ have introduced a new control system to make the game easier but also more realistic. This is were the D-Pad isnt used as much as the analog, a simple flick of the analog will perform one of the wrestler's signature moves. The story is really quite good as well, there are in fact 2 stories, 1 for RAW and 1 for Smackdown. On top of this the sound for the game is also very good, the real life wrestlers do there own voice overs along with the commentators.
