Smackdown Vs Raw (Ps2) Not All That Impressive

Advantages: Good Graphics, Intelligent Gameplay
Disadvantages: Little Backstage Options, Season mode CRAP

...The graphics are amazing, the last wrestling game I played was Smackdown 2. But unfortunately for Smackdown Vs Raw, Smackdown 2 was much better! Let me explain: 1) Season mode is farr too easy and is finished very fast, if you restart season mode its basically the same story each time whatever superstar you use. 2) You cannot go backstage in matches! 3) theres less stuff you can do like its more difficult to put people through announcers tables 4) Backstage there is only 1 backstage place you can play thats the car park which is good but far too limited. Smackdown 2 had loads more options, you could even drive a pickup car sort of thing then! the only thing thats better is the graphics, but thats because its a PS2 game, other good things are that you can take your opponants finisher move (that uses two smackdown signs) + you can...

Smackdown VS Raw (PS2) Review

Advantages: very good game play, excellent graphics and a fantastic two player mode
Disadvantages: season more is to repeatative

...I am a big fan of wrestling as I love playing games as well I thought I'd get a wrestling game for the ps2 to play on in my spear time at home. I have played a couple of WWE wrestling game before but none of them came close to this, it is fantasic as when I am playing this game the hours just fly by. Having played some of the Smackdown games before, I was really hoping it was an improvment on the other games before and I was actually very impressed, you have got the choice of all the orignal playing modes and more such as the car park fighting which I think its quite entertaining and much more fun. There is a wide range of wrestlers to choice from which make the game much more playable and you can also build up yourself a reputation by making a choice of either to fight cleanly or dirty with whichever wrestler you choice...

Smackdown! VS. Raw it's a BORE

Advantages: Good In 2 Player

I thought as I unwrapped this game on Xmas morning, as a fan of The Smackdown Series on PS1/PS2 I thought that Smackdown Vs Raw would keep me entertained over the whole of the Xmas period, the truth is by the time I was chomping on my Turkey Sandwiches that evening, It wasn't Smackdown Vs Raw in my PS2 it was GTA San Andreas, and this is why. Graphics As with all the series the graphics seem to go from strength to strength from title to title. Allow the PS2 ain't as powerful as the XBOX with the graphics displayed here and compared to XBOX WWE you might be forgiven for thinking the PS2 is the more powerful Machine. This has always been one of the strong points in the series, more so now. Sound Although we had the legends introduced in WWE SMackdown Here Comes The Pain, they didn't come with authentic legend music...

...WWE Smackdown Vs RAW 2007 PS2 I bought this for my son the other day. Well sort of true, I wanted it as much as he did. First thing I noticed was they have changed the controls from the previous versions. It uses a new "Analogue control system". It's not easy in the beginning but after a while you pick it up. There is an option at the beginning showing you all the new way to use the "Analogue control system". The moves are made by the sticks, the left is for moving the wrestler and the right is for grappling etc. A small tip if you're not happy with the new system if you go to the options for changing your setup and go to controller and choose "type d" it goes back to the old buttons as in WWE 2006 :). smackdown vs raw 2006....wow

Advantages: brilliant game, great graphics and gameplay, full of features e.g. matches wrestlers modes
Disadvantages: a few glitches are in the game. nothing major

...it seems that thq have gone all out in this years edition of the smackdown series. i think we can safely say that last years attempt was a bit of a flop as far as the game goes......but this year its back and in my book, is the best smackdown game to date. it has everything that smackdown vs raw had......and more. once you start up a match, you can automatically see that the graphics have been worked on, and for the better, the look of the game is brilliant and has been tweaked so much this year...the textures of the wrestlers are great, the arenas look superb..only thing i could put badly about it is the crowd still kind of look a bit weird, but it has been improved. overall the graphics of this game are great and alot better than every other smackdown game to date. the gameplay has has also been improved so much this year...
