Truly an smartphone
Advantages: Performance, connectivity, battery life,3G on WM5
Disadvantages: No WLAN connection, modest camera
...I love smart mobile phones and this phone is just great. HTC MTeoR takes part of the mobile phones powered by Window Mobile 5, one of the best mobile phones OS. The phone is really targeted for power users :).
The phone display is quite large (240x320) and has a great visibility in indoor condition but it's also visible in direct sun. The built in processor at 300 Mhz provide an excellent reserve of speed for an smartphone , and this phone can execute multiple applications at the same time(great multitasking)
By having WM 5 and also a 3G connection the phone can really handle any scenario of usage, and connectivity.
On this smartphone is installed the application suite ClearVue that allows users to read the majority of the PDF and Microsoft Office documents.
The camera has only 1.3 Mpx and so I don't recommend this phone...

Definately the best smartphone of 2008
Advantages: Looks, battery life, shortcuts, ease of use
Disadvantages: 2.5mm headphone socket
...Having shopped around for a new smartphone for a few months, I decided to buy the Nokia E71.
I had read many magazine articles which rated it as the Best Smartphone of 2008.
I completely agree.
When you first switch on the phone, the wizard guides you through the basic phone setup, and before you know it you've configured the wi-fi connection on the phone and are surfing the internet.
The screen is big enough fr web browsing and sharp enough to watch movies. But after some time a bit of dust does get in under the screen, but the carry pouch that comes in the box does a very good job of keeping this dust out.
The keyboard is impressive. The thin rounded tops to the keys mean even someone with bulky fingers can hit the keys they want without mistyping.
There are 4 shortcut keys at the top of the keyboard, each of which can be set to...

Why a smartphone
Advantages: A good smartphome
Disadvantages: A bit bulky
...This Nokia 6600 was my first ever smartphone, and to be honest with you it was great. I first bought this phone in Russia as soon as it came out (about 2 weeks before UK release). At a first look it was cool, as it had a good quality camera a removable MMC card (standard size - no need to use adaptor). The removable memory on a proper MMC is a good advantage to more advanced phones, i.e. Nokia 7610 (it uses a small version of MMC). This is primarily because it easier to find a large MMC for any size (Nokia 6600 accepts 512, not sure about 1GB cards). It has a 6mb internal memory, and personally I had a 128mb card, which was more than enough to store videos, pictures and ringtones. However with the daily advances in technology and higher customer competition it is possible that this memory may not be sufficient. This is because nowadays...

An optimal smartphone!
Advantages: O.S. Symbian s60, 1 gb mmc included, design
Disadvantages: ...
...already to its inside (absolutely negligible).
Only for the presence of the memory card therefore and, naturally, for the fascination of the black one we have not been think two times and we have made our this cellular.
Chosen how much never guessed, to the light of the fact that physically has been expenses "only" 99 euro (thanks to the reduction in price of which over), and the telephone in issue is unlocked. But we leave with the characteristics of this product that sure will interest you more regarding as I have acquired it:
*** DIMENSIONS and DESIGN ***
As already pointed out in opening it hits for its elegance and the sobrie lines, the all black enriched one from cover that to my warning of prominence the style improving a lot the visual impact.
The display, like all the smartphone (more than small telephones computer...

Review of Nokia N70 Music Edition

The E71 is a fantastic smartphone, packed with features.
Advantages: Packed with features, big and bright screen, astonishing battery life
Disadvantages: Poor camera
...The Nokia E71 is a Symbian-based Smartphone, with a full QWERTY keyboard. I've had this for three months now, which I feel is a sensible amount of time to be able to give a full informed opinion on how easy the phone is to live with.
I got this on contract with Orange through an online retailer (http://www.mobiles.co.uk), on a 24-month contract with £250 automatic cashback, for £40 per month, which gave me 1200 minutes, unlimited texts and 500MB data per month on Orange.
Well, that's the package, but what about the phone itself?
First of all, personally I think it's a fantastic looking phone. The buttons are all neatly laid out (which is a must, with so many of them!), and despite the keypad buttons being small, it's easy to use, and even with sausage fingers like I have, I don't often hit a wrong key. The finish oozes...

A smartphone that's simple
Advantages: Easy to use, does pretty much everything
Disadvantages: Perhaps a little too clever for it's own good - can freeze up.
...(though I'm a self-confessed poser - I think it's daft having a state of the art phone and then covering it in cheap leather and Perspex). The phone will often complain that you need to close down some programs so you can run the video player when you have no other programs running, but that could just be my technological ineptitude. Now, onto the good points.
Aesthetically, the phone is very pleasing. The standard colour is a light grey-blue with silver piping, although the paint will chip if you do something like leave it in your pocket with several keys *ahem*. For a smartphone it is very compact, and it feels exceptionally well made. And like most Nokias, the menu system is a doddle to navigate. The menu layout isn't all that different to the 7210, just with all the extras that come with a smartphone. There is even a file manager...

HTC Touch
Advantages: Thin Form factor, Software customizability, PDA features, Windows compatibilty
Disadvantages: No GPS, 3G and hardware keyboard
...The HTC Touch is a decent PDA (Windows Mobile 6) powered smartphone, which is particularly great due to its thin form factor and light weight. The HTC Touch is mainly touch operated and proposes a 'revolutionary' Touch Flo interface. The strength of the touch is that interface and applciations can be completely customised through some tweaking available at xdadevelopers.com, and in fact mine Touch is mainly now finger touch operated, making the stlyus mainly reduntant.
The Touch however is slightly underpowered (you will notice this underpower when using some power hungry apps such as opening a picture hungry webpage), has no GPS and no 3G connectivity. The touch is recommended for those which are on a tight budget, require a good pda and a decent phone but not the ultimate technology. I am very satisfied with it and would...

Great SmartPhone
Advantages: Little
Disadvantages: none
...and devices; the embarrassment of the choice is among Bluetooth, WLan or USB.
The software in endowment includes besides the software of navigation (TomTom 6 with an only city included scaricabile) that for the synchronization to the PC (Microsoft ActiveSync) and a complete version of Outlook to pick up the data saved in the device.
The battery life is excellent considered a lot of functions to disposition. Used only as cellular it succeeds in almost facing to 5 days of use, but in case of unbridled multimedia autonomy reduces him to less than 5 hours.
The price (that to which has been furnished to one client of mine) it is of around £ 420. The price results to be advantageous in comparison to other devices but sincerely still too much tall to make it a device of tall diffusion.
In conclusion a SmartPhone deign...

6600, The Smartphone, The Superphone
Advantages: 65k Colour Screen, Video, and a ton of other cool stuff!
Disadvantages: Not that long recording time. Costs £180 new
...hardware can be found rather cheaply, adding to this phones pack of features.
Then there are the customiseable covers and keypads for it to make it look as snazzy as you want it to be.
I bought this phone and ive only had it 1 or 2 weeks and i already know ill have it for a long time. The 6600 truly is the Smartphone, the Superphone....

Smart, Smartphone
Advantages: Tons of features and aplications
Disadvantages: loading up time
...display and several advanced connectivity options including Infrared, USB, Bluetooth and even a miniSD Card expansion slot with 65MB of RAM
The device, which is codenamed Amadeus, is a tri-band model with a 176 x 220, 64,000-colour screen, 32MB of RAM and 64MB of ROM. It has a 1.3 mega pixel camera on board too.
The Orange SPV C550 is a music and media phone which runs on Microsoft Mobile Technology and offers some new functions to the Orange SPV range; it has an upgraded camera, hardware media buttons and a QVGA screen.
