INITIAL REACTION
On arrival it was evident that the product was meant for another country, as the manual and instructions were in another (European) language. However, the basic manual (and nothing else) was available in English on an included CD. The package also came with an odd beige device that takes RJ-11 cables.
The important thing, however, is how this thing works.
HOW THIS THING WORKS
The SMC7904BRA is a ADSL2+ broadband router and modem in one. ADSL2+ basically means it supports broadband connections faster than 2Mb - normal ADSL routers and modems can't go any faster.

Advantages: A handy combo for practice or small gigs. Disadvantages: A little heavy to carry on your own, especially with a bass.
...About a year and a half ago I decided that the 20W Kustom Bass Combo that I had been playing through was not doing me justice. It was losing the tone of my sound, and was just not loud enough to support a Big Band, which I was playing in at the time. So, I decided to get myself a bigger combo. I chose the 712SMC over the competitors, some of which offered similar power for much less money, because I liked the sound of the amp. This sound is given by the SMC amplifier, also available as a head. The amp has a variable, flexible sound. The compressor is useful, but not as handy as the 7-band eq, with a preset shape. This amp is fine for small gigs and rehearsals, but obviously, it's not as powerful as a stack. It does have a direct inject, which is useful for studio work. But it is a pain to transport. I've bought a little trolley to get it...
Advantages: It's small and it's never crashed. Disadvantages: No disadvantages so far. A quick call to D-link and it was up in minutes.
...The 320T replaced a BT Voyager \ Viking 205 when I changed an smc 2804 for a d-link 655. The Voyager \ Smc combination crashed everytime we had heavy data loads (2 or more people streaming or downloading). We have 2 desktops ( 1 wired \ 1 wireless) 3 laptops (1 wired \ 2 wireless) 2 xbox 360's (1 wired \ 1 wireless) a Wii (wireless) and 3 Ds's. The 320T (and the 655) have never crashed, and handle all the connections easily). I've never had to reset either of these since they were installed, and recommend this double act to anyone who needs speed and range. In case anyone was wondering, I don't work for D-link. I'm a musician who needs upload speed to transfer songs to my music site, and range for the rare days I take my pc in the garden and get some sun !...

Today I tried for the fifteenth time in three and a half months to contact BT's SMC in an attempt to get them to stop billing me.
Why fifteen times? Because I can never get through. Again today the line kept me on queued loop for exactly 1 hour. This has happened a lot of times. I managed to get through the first occasion but was bounced around 5 departments until a rude gentleman in billing dept cut me off. ...I have been using QXL for about a year, both for buying and selling items.
I have managed to pick up some great bargins, for example a SMC 10/100 Network card for £8.
However, you need to be careful. Make sure that you check EXACTLY what it is you are bidding for. If you are unsure as to what the item is, use the 'Ask the seller a question' feature. This works quite well, but does not gurantee a response.
When you are bidding for something, always check the price of the item in the shops to make sure that the amount you have bid is realistic, especially if the item is second hand.
QXL do offer free buyers insurance which gives you some protection (up to £150) if you pay for, but never recieve the item, or if it is not what you bid for, but there are quite a few terms and conditions. (E.g you don't qualify if the seller has...

...The Dell Dimension 5100 is a great family desktop computer, in fact I am using it right now. Mine did not come with the DVD-ROM so it lacks to play the new games so I pay to download them but I?m sure newer versions of the dell 5100 have it in.
It comes with SMC/xD, MS/MS PRO, CF 1/11 and SD/MMC card slots. Two Usb ports at the front and five at the back. Mine took a bit of a while but I managed to get it to burn onto dvd-rw disks.
It lives up to expectations and it?s designed for a family computer and not just for gaming. My graphics card isn't the best but since it?s not made for gaming so that?s acceptable. I use lots of software on it, manly 3d design software and gaming software and it still works well.
If you?re planning on purchasing one I would not advise you to rely on the windows firewall to stop viruses. I suppose...
