Advantages: A Good Read and Not too Heavy
Disadvantages: Not an addictive read

DMR -EZ48VEBK; at the price sold refurbished - awesome!

Advantages: The VEIRA link gives the Panasonic DMR the best picture qualities for products of it's kind.
Disadvantages: The connections liable to disturbanced by movement of the DMR; the handbook too complicated!

...CONNECT 4 Sometimes the simplest of games give the most pleasure and after playing Connect 4 with my children today I thought that I would review it. THE GAME ITSELF The game is made up of red and yellow counters and a simple blue plastic grid. The game is for two players and each player chooses one of the colours. The object of the game is to then slot the counters in the grid (it houses 42 counters as a maximum) at the top (taking turns) and the first player to get four counters in a straight line wins. The line can be horizontal, vertical or diagonal, but the row must be uninterrupted. Of course, whilst you are trying to get your four in a row, you are at the same time trying to block your opponent from achieving the same thing. ...This is the classic counter game for two players, the aim of the game is for those players to compete against each other taking it in turns to try to be the first to connect four counters together. Players take it in turns to use the yellow and red counters and placing them into the grid to form a straight line of four in a row, vertically, horizontally or diagonally. Who ever gets the four in a row wins the game. Each player takes it in turns and needs to think strategically as to where to put there next counter to help them to get four in a row, but to also think about if they need to block their opponent to stop them from winning the game. Be.ez LArobe - Stylish protection for your Mac

Advantages: Stylish, with good lightweight protection
Disadvantages: Perhaps a little pricy

Now, as you'd expect, I'm a stylish kind of guy, so I was looking for something stylish and after hunting about a bit, I plumped for the Be.ez 13.3 LArobe (pictured above). I assume the Be.ez is pronounced 'be easy'. It looks good and ticked the boxes for the level of protection offered. I got mine from Amazon (of course, because of the voucher) and it cost me £19.38 inc Post and Packing. I reckon this is a tad pricey, for instance there are some available in the £5 region if you look, but neither is it the most expensive in class. ...I think we can all say that we have played this game at one point in our life, either as a child or with our own children. I perfsonally remember playing it as a child and had hours of fun playing it with my sister, so when my son was old enough I thought it was tiime to introrduce him to the game and he loves it too. WHATS IN THE BOX When you open the box you are faced with a blue grid (very sturdy) comprising of 22 holes and 22 counters (11 red and 11 yellow). It is easy to assemble just lift the grid up and slide it into the base and you're ready to go. Can you connect four

Advantages: Very playable for the younger generations

Our kids sit and play for ages at a time with it. The rules are simple to understand and so is the setting up. It is an ideal game for the younger members of the family. I think it is decent value for money, especially if you buy the cheapest version. I personally find it boring after a few games, but I think I'm a little old for it now, so don't let that put you off. If you have kids, they will love it. Thanks for reading :)...
