...The wait is finally over and Call of Duty : Modern Warfare 2 has finally arrived. I was eagerly anticipating its release, so much so that I pre-ordered it the first day that it was available to do so. The original Modern Warfare and World at War are probably my 2 favourite games of all time, so would one of the most hyped up games of all time, live up to expectations ? ~~~ First Impressions ~~~ Right from the beginning I was impressed. The adverts before the actual game are again skippable, which means you're ready to start shooting in seconds. Modern Warfare 2 - Fun but not Fantastic

Advantages: intriguing gameplay, flawless sound/graphics, rolling storyline
Disadvantages: anti-climax, little repetitive, nothing really new to catch onto

...The hype was wild for Halo 3, it continued for the anticipations of Halo Wars and many were disappointed. Hype was given for Gears of War and that continued for Gears of War 2 and many were disappointed. Likewise Call of Duty was bound to reach a similar anti-climax and so far it has. The overall conclusion is that is fun but not fantastic. However it is important to note that unless you are the stereotypical gamer who has his own gaming chair complete with a surrounding of cookies, crisps, full fat cola, a headset and the limited edition of Halo 3's Spartan mask, likiness is you won't find the game at all a let down. Afterall Infinity Ward are possibly the only people to construct a war-time gaming experience that steers well clear of clichés which removes the unbelievable characters who would look more in place in a Marvel Comic strip...

Advantages: Compared to the first modern warfare they have added driving in the story and its more detailed.
Disadvantages: To be honest, besides a few environmental graphics, it looks to be the shooter of the decade.

...Call of Duty Modern warfare 2 looks amazing if you?re a halo freak you will fall in love with this first person shooter. It's very detailed. They even switched the map to the screen on your gun unlike any game I have seen before. As far as if you just want to buy the game, and not go online to play, the story line features are so much better. You can even drive on this epic 1st person shooter. The disadvantages to this game as far as I can see are only a few visual slumps like every once in awhile a car will not look as realistic but everything else is wonderful. If you?re looking for a gift for a gamer or just want to try an epic 1st person shooter then this is the game for you....

Call of Duty modern warfare 2 Worth it???

Advantages: Brilliant graphics, very good onine multiplayer, nice features added which orignal did not have.
Disadvantages: quite a complex storyline

...The most eagerly anticipated game of the year, possibly even the decade. Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 is a first person shooter available on the most popular games consoles. Xbox 360, Playstation 3 and PC. the game is rated 18 and for good reason. Many scenes throughout the campaign mode of the game I personaly found quite disturbing, however this would not put me off buying the game. one level in particular where you pose as a terrorist, and with your gang walk around an Airport shooting civillians. you do however get the choice to skip this level when you load up the game. I would not recomend that you buy this game for your child, or anyone under the 18 year age recommendation. Despite the few disturbing levels you cannot deny the incredible graphics and gameplay that Activision have managed to create in the amzaing game...

Team Fortress 2 (updated)

Advantages: good team play, fun graphics, constantly updated and improved
Disadvantages: hard!

...Since Team Fortress 2 has been updated alot lately, i only think its fair i update my review. TF2 is a first person shooter, online multiplayer fiasco. Its like Battlefield 2 took some drugs with Walt Disney and then got in a washing machine and set its self to rinse. The graphics, as you can see, are very cartoony, as was the case with TF classic (so im lead to believe). But dont let that put you off. They are awfully good graphics and its quite a pretty game. Its worth mentioning that like the battlefield series of games, (and others) TF2 has "classes". There's the scout, Pyro, heavy, demoman, soldier, medic, spy, engineer and sniper. Unlike other games though, the classes here are very very different. The difference between the Scout and Heavy for example are astronomical. The scout has only 150 health, a bat, a pistol and shotgun...

Review of Team Fortress 2 (PC)

Diablo 2

Advantages: Great game, loads of fun.
Disadvantages: Not challenging enough for some.

...Diablo 2 is the best PC RPG, (role playing game), ever! I absolutely love this game! I'm not a huge fan of computer games on the whole, I prefer card games and real RPGs like Dungeons and Dragons or Vampire the Masquerade, but I really like this one. I can quite happily play Diablo 2 for hours without even noticing the passage of time. My longest stint to date is 10 hours without so much as a toilet break. I am not 100% and a bit too lazy to check but I think Diablo 2 was published/released in the UK in 2000. It is the successor to the ever popular RPG: Diablo. Diablo was for it's time, and excellent game with great graphics and playability. Some people will assure you that Diablo is better than Diablo 2 but I played D2 first and think it's the greatest. Diablo is a little too primitive for my liking. Okay now for the boring bit...
