...I managed to pick up this netbook for £299 which is oustanding value - from play.com. The netbook is very light and can fit almost anywhere - it is very easy to carry around - you can set up anywhere and very easily connect to the internet where available. The netbook looks very stylish and everything is laid out well. The keyboard is the biggest i have ever seen on a netbook - its almost full size which is a bonus as I have a lot of typing to do. One disadvantage of this is that the mousepad has been made very small which is a nuisance - you do get used to it but it is not ideal. The specs for this netbook are impressive I mean a massive 160GB hard drive, a 10.2 inch screen. 1 GB of RAM and a 1.6GHZ intel atom processor. ...I recieved this netbook for christmas and all i can say is 'wow'! My background with computers is vast having built many and installed multiple operating systems on each, however i have never owned a laptop. Therefore i was a little dubious about some of the things such as keyboard size, processing power and battery life. I was looking for a laptop which is very small in physical size while packing a punch so it could still carry out multiple tasks. ...I bought my NC10 to replace my laptop which was just too heavy to be carrying to and from work everyday. I purchased my NC10 on a promotion weekend from a high street store beating online prices significantly. I was trying to avoid big bulky items to carry as I was on crutches at the time. Not recommended but straight out of box into my rucksack in the shop from which it was purchased. Didn't notice much weight difference in my bag at all. The Samsung NC10 has served me dilligently now being used more and more instead of my normal laptop as battery life is excellent. I use the NC10 round the house for coursework, work and even during my work lunch. After a cold and damp 2008 summer we were suffering from condensation and mould problems in spite of extractor fans in both kitchen and bathroom. Time to dehumidify! We bought our DEM 10 at Curry's for £99.99. It is compact, easily moved with a fold-out top carry handle and absolutely idiot proof in use. The level of humidity that the unit will pull down to can be controlled via a knob on top of the housing and there is a full tank warning light. The water tank is transparent so that the water level can be seen at a glance and the tank is so easy to remove for emptying - and, more importantly, to replace. Try some of the competition! A length of polythene hose is supplied to enable continuous draining should you want to leave the unit...

Modern Warfare 2 - Fun but not Fantastic

Advantages: intriguing gameplay, flawless sound/graphics, rolling storyline
Disadvantages: anti-climax, little repetitive, nothing really new to catch onto

...The hype was wild for Halo 3, it continued for the anticipations of Halo Wars and many were disappointed. Hype was given for Gears of War and that continued for Gears of War 2 and many were disappointed. Likewise Call of Duty was bound to reach a similar anti-climax and so far it has. The overall conclusion is that is fun but not fantastic. However it is important to note that unless you are the stereotypical gamer who has his own gaming chair complete with a surrounding of cookies, crisps, full fat cola, a headset and the limited edition of Halo 3's Spartan mask, likiness is you won't find the game at all a let down. Afterall Infinity Ward are possibly the only people to construct a war-time gaming experience that steers well clear of clichés which removes the unbelievable characters who would look more in place in a Marvel Comic strip...

...and again, this doesn't seem to be a problem this year. The sound quality still isn't very good though. All of your stats are still saved within your 'Player HUB' and online leaderboards are there as always. The leaderboards at the moment appear to rank the top 10,000 in the world and top 10,000 in each country. At the moment I'm ranked around 7000 in GB, but don't have a ranking spot in the world rankings. 10v10 Team Play is still here. You can now play friends more easily. Previously when I wanted to play with just my friends I had to create a room then start as quick as possible without anyone else joining (there may have been an easier way), but now you can invite your friends to a private game. Nothing could really have been improved here unless they included the goalkeeper or substitutes, so when you're fed up with your real friends...

...Call of Duty Modern warfare 2 looks amazing if you?re a halo freak you will fall in love with this first person shooter. It's very detailed. They even switched the map to the screen on your gun unlike any game I have seen before. As far as if you just want to buy the game, and not go online to play, the story line features are so much better. You can even drive on this epic 1st person shooter. The disadvantages to this game as far as I can see are only a few visual slumps like every once in awhile a car will not look as realistic but everything else is wonderful. If you?re looking for a gift for a gamer or just want to try an epic 1st person shooter then this is the game for you....

...game really needs two people as it is made for coop, although missions are easier when there?s only one some missions you do need two people or else you cant play it. Overall Overall modern warfare 2 is a brilliant game, it is far better than any previous call of duty game and when a modern warfare 3 comes out this most probably will still be played. i give this a 9.5 out of ten, I think its a 10/10 but the shortish campaign will make most gamers a little (not to much) disappointed....
