There is smeg on my hood

...I can`t believe that I am actually sitting here writing an opinion on a cooker hood. What the Smeg can I possibly say that will make anyone out there want to buy a Smeg KSEIV95X cooker hood ? And who the hell would want to put anything in their kitchen with the word SMEG emblazoned across it. The modern homes exhibition will never be the same again. Beautiful fitted kitchens that contain more SMEG than a Thailand brothel. It is a hood, it is made by Smeg, it goes above the cooker and it sucks out all the unwanted fumes that make your nice clean home smell like a backstreet greasy spoon diner. And before anyone asks me, yes, I do get commission for the number of times I include the name SMEG in my op (I wish). lmao. The KSEIV95X cooker hood from Smeg (god, I hate saying that word) is quite simply the Rolls Royce of cooker hoods...

World's best cooker!

Advantages: Simply the best double oven, gas hob cooker available!
Disadvantages: Stainless steel can be quite hard to keep looking clean.

...This cooker is simply incredible. Triple burner ring on the hob heats anything up in seconds and the oven is so hot you can cook oven chips in less than 10 minutes. The oven has a defrost capacity which is very fast and gives much better results than using a microwave. The grill can be used as just a grill or as a conventional oven. This comes in very handy when cooking for a lot of people or if 2 different dishes need a different temperature. The whole thing is put together extremely well and has a real feel of quality to it. I particularly the cast iron pan rests and the clunky feel of the doors. I've cooked on quite a few cookers in my time but nothing comes close to the SMEG for value and performance. Its also one of the most attractive cookers around and will be a stunning addition to any kitchen....

OK, I admit it, I'm a SMEG HEAD!

Advantages: Does exactly what it should AND has a highly amusing name.
Disadvantages: All the cheesy jokes in this review.

We didn't really want to spend £2,000 or thereabouts on a range cooker especially as the only person we knew who owned one had spent about £3,000 for the most tempermental piece of equipment since Shirley Temple. The only things that you realy need to know is that meat is much better if very lightly fried to seal in the juices, and although this is not nessasary if you don't your meat can have almost a slimey texture. It is always worth bearing in mind that slow cookers work by keeping the moisture sealed in..so the less times you lift the lid the better !!!
