...Since I have started writing reviews on the contents of my kitchen I would like to follow up by telling you about my SMEG fridge freezer yes the names funny but the fridge freezer is a serious piece of equipment that I would never be without even though it cost my mum as a house warming present over £1700 well she would not buy me any other brand as she swears by SMEG and we have always had this brand in my family home. I must admit though I did not do enough research on this product. This was mainly due to the need for a washing machine and also my friend has a SMEG washing machine. ...or the appliance needs to stick out so you can open it around whatever it is stood next to. In my kitchen I can't open my kitchen drawer and the fridge at the same time. I don't mind it but could see how it could get annoying. Bearing this in mind you also need to make up your mind which way you want the door to open. The doors aren't changeable like other fridge freezers because of where the handles are situated and because of the hinges etc. so you have to order right hand or left hand opening. SMEG SUK92MFX5 - PERFECT COMPANY

OK, I admit it, I'm a SMEG HEAD!

Advantages: Does exactly what it should AND has a highly amusing name.

A great performing Smeg Dishwasher, while nice and compact.

Advantages: slimline, silver, economical , easy to use, ample space.
Disadvantages: Awkward for saucepans.

...The Smeg DWF41FS is in my opinion a great performing dishwasher. Its fairly easy to use and compact. We fill the machine right up before any usage, thus giving us great economy. Being a slimline dishwasher you would believe it would lacking in space. It is quite the contrast, if we had a full size version, I doubt we would ever fill it right up before running out of plates, bowls and cutlery. I runs very quietly, and has several different types of programmes. Being silver it matches the rest of the kitchen, and looks very smart. There is not anything tacky or cheap looking, on the machine. The filter inside is made of stainless steel, not plastic like many other brands.
