Smirnoff Vodka :)

Advantages: Trusted, reputable brand.
Disadvantages: The cheaper versions, are pretty much the same when your mixing :)

...Vodka isn't my favourite drink, I'm more of a wine person myself, but, when I do drink vodka I don't really see the difference between Smirnoff vodka and the cheap stuff from asda... now maybe if you are a big vodka fan you could taste the difference. The only thing I find is that cheap vodka gets your alot drunker alot quicker...!! Which is a good thing!! Haha. The vodka tastes like vodka, smells like vodka, and looks like vodka...if your drinking it with orange juice or cola or something with a taste then why spend double the price when the taste is been masked by juice anyway??? Yes if your a straight vodka drinker, or drink it with tonic...I could see that this would be better and taste nicer. But, I do recommend getting yourself a £7 bottle rather than £17 bottle of Smirnoff and just see if you taste a difference...

Smirnoff; strong & distinctive

Advantages: Strong tasting
Disadvantages: Expensive

...I never really used to like Vodka, I mainly used to drink Malibu & coke but recently my main drink has become Vodka (mixed in with things of course). The great thing about Vodka is that you can have it with literally everything; coke, orange, red bull, lemonade, anything you can think of it will blend well with. I always make sure I've got a bottle of Smirnoff in the fridge especially for when I have mates round. I tend to have it with red bull which in my opinion is the best thing to mix it with as Red Bull is of course an energy drink it's great to drink if you're going on a night out until 4am as it will keep you dancing all night! STRICTLY OVER 18 ONLY (Smirnoff Vodka)

...Smirnoff Triple Distilled Vodka has to be the route of all evil (along with money). It makes you do things you wish you hadn't and gives you a mouth like dusty flip flop the next day. So why is it such a big seller? The bottle I have is just a small , 20cl, as we are not huge vodka drinkers and comes in a clear glass bottle with a red top. The bottle cost me £5.45 from my local Spar. There is a red label on the front and back of the bottle. The front label has the Smirnoff branding and states that the vodka is triple distilled for purity. The strength of the vodka is a mere 37.5% vol. ...happened to me when I started drinking vodka. I guess it wasn't vodka as a drink, just the fact that my alcohol intake was much higher due to the fact that I drunk so much of it. But look at me anyway, I wrote all that and never once mentioned the word Smirnoff, which is after all what the op is meant to be about. Smirnoff is pretty much considered the best vodka. Now, for the connoisseur vodka drinker there may be better brands out there, but for a general, drink in a pub vodka I think Smirnoff is pretty much the best option. The reason? OUR CAT'S CALLED SMIRNOFF.

Advantages: The taste.
Disadvantages: The price.

.... There is no ageing process for the flavour to mellow out. The fact remains, however, that it does have a taste and a smell, regardless of how indescribable they are. Smirnoff vodka has a very pleasant vodka smell. It could almost be described as sweet. Same with the flavour when it is mixed with cola or lemonade. It is definitely not sweet when taken on its own though. It?s very much a dry spirit, unlike my usual favourite liqueurs. Despite that, it is an easy and not unpleasant drink to consume unmixed. It is very much a ?shot? drink under those circumstances. Where someone might savour the taste of whisky or brandy, vodka is definitely to be ?knocked back? in one go. Smirnoff Vodka

Advantages: Gets you leathered!
Disadvantages: Too much can cause memory loss of the night before and a hell of a hangover!

.... A double Vodka and Coke on the rocks is my speciallity and i have my teenage years to thank for it. There are many types of Vodka but this one is Smirnoff and it is probably the best vodka you can buy as it is smoother than the rest and does not burn your throat as much when you drink it. You can mix it with pretty much anything but i personally recomend Coke with ice. This bottle contains the vodka and 37.5%volume in alcohol so it is very strong and i advise you not to drink too much of it if your a light drinker because it can make you very VERY drunk and can make you feel like death the next day.But if you drink it in moderation it actually can be very enjoyable and relaxing. ...Smirnoff Ice must be one of the most successful alcopops on the market. It is more sophisticated than any other on the market by far... Smirnoff Ice is a combination of lemon and Smirnoff Red Label vodka. However the lemon is more of a subtle hint which hides any alcoholic taste and replaces it with a pleasant taste which leaves just a faint alcoholic taste at the end of the drink. Smirnoff Ice is a fizzy drink but it is not as fizzy as normal soft drinks which makes it easier to drink more of it. The alcohol content of 5.5% is pretty average for an alcopop. It's a tasty little number which reminds me of drinking old fashioned lemonade, with a sneaky hint of Smirnoff vodka! Smirnoff Black Ice- as clear as my conscience

...I?ve always drunk Smirnoff ice occasionally but I find it quite sickly after a while but a friend told me Smirnoff Black Ice was more refreshing so I decided to try that instead. The bottle is black and grey and contains 275ml of the drink. The typical Smirnoff logo is written across the bottle and underneath this Black Ice is written. The drink is described on the bottle as ?a refreshing citrus blend with triple distilled vodka for a crisp, clean bite.? It is 5.5% vol. I found this product far more refreshing than Smirnoff Ice which I don?t particularly like. You can taste the alcohol but the drink certainly has the ?crisp, clean bite? that was promised.
