...If anyone has read my previous reviews then they will realise how much I spend on hair products to tame my frizz! Well I have found a new and great range of products by redken. I usually use some of redkens hair products to help straighten my hair (see previous reviews) I recently fancied trying some new shampoo and conditioner, as i'm a firm believer that your hair can get used to products therefore it being a good idea to alternate them. OH SO SMOOTH.

Review of Smooth Collie

Hammerite is now Mister SMOOTH .

Advantages: Usually one coat covers all, although two may be needed.
Disadvantages: Fumes are not pleasant indoors until dry.

...Firstly, I must just say that although I think the Hammerite range is fantastic, I always use it with adequate ventilation. The fumes from this paint are not pleasant. Whatever you are going to paint, just make sure it is wire brushed well first. Also, try not to use it in direct sunlight as it will dry too quickly. I often get away with one coat, but two are recommended. Compared with more familiar hammered finish, this has a similar consistency, but obviously dries with smooth surface, rather like powder coating. (I have done a seperate review on hammered). I must mention mixing colours - Hammerite do not recommend mixing this paint, however I have done so many times. You must of course mix it with Hammerite, not just any old gloss paint. On one occasion, my Daughter wanted some metal shelving painting pink! I did not relish...
