A good safety product

...The betterware socket guard is very simple to use and a very good way to keep your children's prying fingers safe for a very little price! It's different to other products on the market as instead of just slotting into the actual plug, this slots onto the entire socket so it will cover up both the plugs and the plugs inside are still usable so it's not taking up the plug space! It just comes in one standard size- the size of a general double plug socket which is 15x9 cm and is 3xcm wide so large enough to accomdate the plugs within. It is available in white, I haven't seen it in any stores or online stores in any other colour. I presume this is because the majority of sockets are white. You don't need any tools to put it onto the socket either, it's really simplea nd straight forward to clip on. I think it's a great product...

...Baby & child safety should always be the main priority in any household and this is no exception in my sister's house with 4 children under the age of 14. 12 white socket covers are available from Mothercare for £4.99 and these are available online or in store. The covers are just white plastic covers which go in to 13 amp plug sockets and help to prevent little fingers from inserting their fingers in to a plug socket and giving themselves a potentially fatal electric shock. They are very easy to use and you little just plug them in, in the same way that you would a standard plug and to remove them may take a minute or two and you simply put your finger under the left or right edge and pull them out (make sure the plug socket is turned off first). Switch off at the socket

Disadvantages: none for you - but the electricity suppliers are not lining their pockets with your money

...not harm the computer at all. Even the wifi box gets switched off as soon as I have finished on the computer. It doesn't need reprogramming when you switch it back on. My hasband has a digital bug clock/radio next to the bed, which was on all day even when he's not using it. This now gets switched off at the socket during the day and switched on a bedtime. Low energy lightbulbs save money, instead of having the main lights on when watching tv in the evening, put a lamp on with a low energy bulb in it. It may seem a lot of hassel at first switching everything off but when you get your next four bills and work out how many units you have not used compared to the last four bills, you will be amazed. Our electricial units used in 2006 was 8982, the usage in 2007 with switching things off was 5462, thats 3520 units not wasted...

...If your like i was before stuck with a pretty decent socket 478 CPU such as a Pentium 4 2.8 , then this is one of the best motherboards i would recommend to get. There are lots of great advantages with this motherboard such as the size, its a Micro ATX motherboard meaning that you can have a smaller case such as a media centre case. It has 2 DDR 400 (backwards compatible with DDR 333,266 and 200) slots which can be used in Dual channel Mode if both Ram modules are the same. The northbridge chipset on this board is an Intel 865g which supports a front side bus up to 800 mhz , but you can also use 400 and 533 mhz bus CPU's with this board. The best socket A heatsink available

Advantages: Superb cooling, firm fixing, 80 or 92mm fans
Disadvantages: May not fit all boards. A bit fiddley.

...a temperature of 44'c and 47'c under load. this is with a 40cfm 92mm fan attached. However last night the temperature dropped here, and the cpu temp dropped too, to about 38'c. I have also tested the heatsink at normal voltages for the cpu, and the results speak for themselves. 38'c underload, and 34'c idle, amazing considering the air temperature in my case is only a few degrees cooler than this! Not only does it cool well but it is also one of the quietest I have ever had the pleasure of 'not hearing'. A standard 92mm fan is bearly distinguishable above my 3 hard drives and various case fans. So to sum up, the SP97 is quiet simply the best heatsink available for Socket A. Coupled with a good 92mm fan (the Vantec tornado is a monster of a fan and would cool it even further although you will need a fan controller to slow it down as it...
