Freekee Soda..... The Drink For Freaks!!!

...A while back my mum (MandyMinx) wrote an opinion on Freekee Soda describing it as disgusting. After reading her op I left her a comment saying that I would probably enjoy the drink...... boy was I wrong!!! Recently my mum and dad bought a pack of Strawberry and Orange flavoured Freekee Sodas for myself and my brothers. I was eager to try one so I grabbed a Strawberry one. Before I even took a sip I could smell how sickly and sweet the drink was. After taking a swallow I immediately felt sick. The drink tasted like a medicinal thing my mum used to give me to stop dehydration when I was being sick called Dioralyte. I never enjoyed taking it as a kid so it was apparent Freekee Soda wasn't going to become my favourite drink. On the bottle it says that Freekee Soda "mixes the fizz with the smooth"; I enjoy drinking both fizzy and smooth...

Freekee soda..An unforgetable experience.

Advantages: I suppose you could recycle the bottle

...I absolutely love to try new things.I test and try new products on an all too regular basis.My poor family travel this road of discovery with me, never knowing whether mum has spotted anything new at the supermarket, never sure what they are going to have to eat next. I was out this morning in the centre of town and I got one of those tickly coughs that refuses to go away. I would have gone to a cafe for a drink, but I had Mark with me and he hates them so I rushed into the nearest newsagents to grab something to clear the tickle and quench my thirst. I was watching Rise on the TV this morning and they were talking about this new product that had recently been presented to the world....Freekee Soda..... When I saw this in the newsagents fridge I decided that it must in fact be a sign and grabbed a bottle....Aptly called Odd Orange...

The Magic of Baking Soda

Advantages: Leaves your teeth and mouth feeling clean and fresh. Also helps whiten your teeth.

By the end of our week’s stay, we were completely and utterly hooked on it. ...you listening attentively every single time afterwards. (10/10) Wounded Knee: An intruiging percussion solo, that you will not expect coming off Nature Boy. An interesting song.... (7/10) Pork Soda: Hmmm....Les speaks very quickly about very random things, and the entire song is the work of complete freaks. I'm willing to bet most people will skip it, but give it a lsiten. It's enjoyable. (6.5/10) The Pressman: This is an interesting song considering that the bass is very low key, and is not meant to impress, but rather to set the mood. Also, the song is very mellow and down-tempo. Having said that, it's odd that this song is scarse on guitarwork. However, the change of pace is welcome and this song covers up for the two oddities that preceeded it. Take a listen... (8/10) Mr. Krinkle...

...I'm a softdrink-a-holic and am always keen to try anything new and different, so as soon as I saw this new drink on the shelf I quickly snapped it up... (my first mistake). On, returning to my car and it being a hot day, I quickly twisted the cap and took a large swig (my second mistake). Soda Crystals - One Multi Purpose cleaner!

Advantages: Very cheap, versatile...and environmentally friendly!

I bought a 1kg pack from Sainsbury's for about 85p and I've been converted ever since! It worked a treat on my drain, just by pouring the crystals down, and flushing through with boiling water. Arm and Hammer Baking soda tooth paste

Advantages: neutralises acidity,bleaching and whitening effect,cheap
Disadvantages: not great taste,doesnt lather bubbles much

...Well it's not my favourite but I use it because of the whitening effect and it's cheaper to get hold of.Right I use two toothpaste and do try others sometime,so that I can compare which is better.I have been using this one lately with a colgate freshmint one. Advantages: Cleaning action. Little Cleaning Crystals of Wonderment

Advantages: Cheap, Environmentally friendly, Versatile...they're just great, ok?
Disadvantages: You wouldn't want to sprinkle them on your cornflakes!

...In my eternal quest to try and save money, and allow me to spend more on the finer things in life (nice holidays etc), I've reading up a lot on different ways to shop and save. My latest discovery is Soda Crystals and for this I need to thank Kim and Aggie and my other half being late home, causing me to watch their programme on BBCAmerica (Their show is on 4 times a day in America, can you believe it?). My shopping bill seems to get bigger and bigger and I often find new products I want to try out, or 'need' as they claim to 'better than the rest'. My biggest expense always seem to come from cleaning products, be it limescale removers, washing powder, fabric softener, bleaches and creams, window cleaners, sink and drain cleaners...you get the idea. The machine itself was fine and was taking the washing powder so rather than incur the additional expense of calling out a plumber or buying a new washing machine my sister recommended I try soda crystals.
