Canon DCC-90 soft case... A FRAUD!

Advantages: Nice looking, lightweight, has belt loop too
Disadvantages: Canon S5 doesn't fit at all, no extra pockets and too expensive

... Canon DCC-90 Soft Case - my review Canon DCC-90 is the official soft case for the Canon camera models S2, S3 and S5. There isn't really too much to say about this soft case but I'll do my best. I own a Canon digital camera S5 IS and since the size of this camera is quite weird (not as big as Reflex cameras but neither small enough to fit in common camera cases) I found very hard to find a proper case for it. What stopped me from buying the original case by Canon was it's price. As a matter of fact the cost is £14.55 at the lowest (on amazon.co.uk) while generally can be purchased around £17-25 everywhere else. Also I could hardly find any picture of it online and they are impossible to find in shops so I didn't really fancied spending such an amount of money for something I couldn't even see properly. Carry case

Advantages: Prevents scratches and damage to your laptop
Disadvantages: Quite costly

...I have just brought a laptop to do some word processing at home. It wasn't a very expensive one, but I wanted to take good care of it so it wouldn't get dirty or scratched. When I brought the laptop I asked the shop assistant if they sold any carrying cases and he showed me a couple of them. The first one felt very cheap and didn't feel as if it would last for very long and it also felt that it would rip easy at the seams. So I asked him if there where any more to look at and he told me that there where a few others but they where more expensive. He produced this Toshiba carrying case and I instantly knew from the look of it that it was more substantial and a better quality material. In case you need to protect your laptop!

Advantages: Great for protecting your laptop
Disadvantages: None!

I bought it to protect my laptop, whenever I was not using it and for carrying it around in. I have now given it to my daughter, as I have a newer pull along one. Tomtom - just in case! . . .

Advantages: Protects.
Disadvantages: None.

...First the technical stuff, the case is made of plastic, ethylene-vinyl acetate actually, which is a form of soft thermoplastic, including recycled materials, so you could say you are doing your bit for the environment. The outer covering is hardwearing Nylon. The carry case comes complete with a wrist strap, although personally I would not trust it. It has an improved zip, apparently the old one was prone to jamming. The picture Ciao have put up is of the old model, the new one is very similar, just a little more subtle. These cases are a good idea for keeping dust and scratches at bay, however, it may have been a better idea if the case was fitted with belt loops, so you could carry it on your belt, or a strap like binoculars have, rather than risk it slipping out of your pocket, or even leaving it in the car. PS2 carry case review

Disadvantages: Everything

...Unfortunately i have to give this product my very first "Very poor", as i bought one and was deeply inimpressed with the slow reactions and unhelpful assistance of the software manufactures. The Logic 3 PS2 Carry Kit barely fitted my PS2 slimeline, and when i did finnally push it in and ajust it so the zip would close, the carry kit did not protect the PS2 much, as one of the zips inside it scratched the edges of my PS2. The manufactures when i reported this to them said that it was my fault and that the carry case works for most slimeline PS2's. (???) They refused to replace the carry kit or the PS2 and i was left with the thing that is now in the rubbish bins. I reccomend this item to everyone that wants to break their PS2 or anybody that likes to waste money. This item has won my "Worst product ever" award of 2008!!...

Excellent Case for Compatible Cameras

...I bought a Canon PowerShot A560 Camera and, as one was not supplied, I needed a case to protect it when I am carrying it around. I checked the Canon website and found a chart showing that the DCC-80 soft case was the one recommended for my camera. I found the DCC-80 case listed on Amazon.com for £10.99. However, on the Amazon site, it was listed as being compatible with the A710 IS, AS700, A540, A530, A520 and A510... the A560 was not listed! However, the listing on the Canon site (in the downloadable brochure), along with the fact that I know that the A550 is the same size as the A560, made me press ahead and buy the case.
