From my point of view there great value for money so shop around on-line as prices vary. ...I thought I'd give Nivea Soft Intensive Moisturising Cream a try, as I fancied a change from the usual baby lotion I use. Also Nivea has been around for a such a long time the brand can be trusted. Don't be put off by the packaging as it looks a bit boring - the brand speaks for itself. Nivea Soft is available in a 75ml tube costing around £1.99, 200ml tub for £2.75 and a 300 ml tub for £5.75. The packaging is quite simple and is all white other than the blue Nivea Soft logo. Be Gentle with me! I like the soft touch.

Advantages: Gentle cleanser, at great price

...Armed with a voucher for money off Boots No 7, I selected a cleanser and toner in the range ?Soft and Soothed?. It is classed as a gentle cleanser which cleans, comforts and hydrates. Boots No 7 products have been manufactured for many years and although I used to use them frequently I had moved on to more ?upmarket? products. Or so I thought! Read on and you will find out more. The bottle *********** Made from strong pearly pink plastic, with a pearly lid this bottle contains 200mls and is round at the base and oval at the neck where it has a pump dispenser. The change in shape makes it easy to hold, as it is slightly narrower in the middle. It is just under 5cm diameter at base, and the lid is 5 x 4cm. It is 14cm high and with the lid on is 18cm, so quite a tall bottle to fit on a bathroom shelf, so I keep mine on the dressing...

...I popped into Boots a couple of weeks ago to treat myself to a new lipstick and mascara and was immediately pounced upon by one of the assistants, "did you know if you spend £15 or more on Boots No7 products you get a free beauty box gift containing 7 No7 products? Hmmm I'm a sucker for a free gift so I browsed through the lip colours and mascaras, deciding on a gloss at £6 and a mascara at £9.50, expensive for me but I was thinking of the freebies! Anyway I am glad I spent that £15 as I've now got 7 super new products that I hadn't tried before! One of these products was a 30ml bottle of No7 Soft & Soothed gentle cleanser! After using this bottle for a week (only a little needed each time, I was hooked and went into Boots and bought the full size 200ml bottle for only £6.50 (currently on a 3 for 2 offer too so good value...

Disadvantages: Not quite as gentle as i had hoped, but still good!

...is that the lid twists off fairly easily, however you have you have to give it quite a hard push to get it back on. It would be so much easier if they just made it a screw top lid ? they obviously have their reasons though! The bottle has stickers on both the front and back with all the necessary information such as name, ingredients, directions for use etc? The packaging also shows the claims of being mild enough for the whole family, dermatologically tested and 100% soap free ? all of these are aspects which really appeal to me. ***Product*** As mentioned I was drawn to this partly because of the ?softly softly? in the name, but also due to the several claims of being kind to sensitive skin, so I was keen to put these claims to the test.
