...Nas took a humongous break but struck back hard with Stillmatic, which found Nas returning to his roots. Fans welcomed Nas back and awaited his next album, which was highly anticipated. Unfortunately, his parade was a bit torn down. Rumors circulated all around about Nas selling out and signing with commercial hip-hop label Murder Inc. Not to mention that his collaboration with Ja Rule and Ashanti didn't exactly help matters out. However, Nas proved everybody wrong with the release of God's Son, as we see Nas single-handedly bring his career from the depths and ressurect it like Jesus Christ himself. Advantages: Great story and portrayal of characters. Absorbing read, great for discussions. Disadvantages: Story doesn't really make sense without reading wicked, poor readibility.
...Son of a witch is the second novel in the wicked series by the bestselling author, Gregory Maguire. Son of a Witch is the sequal to Wicked- The Life and Times of The Wicked witch of The West, which has inspired a hit musical, and worldwide, has sold two million copies. Wicked is based on the novel, The Wizard of Oz, by L. Frank Baum, and is a parallel book, giving the story if Elphaba, the Wicked Witch of the West. As Son of A witch implies, the novel follows the life of Liir, the witch's son, who after the death of the witch, is left to find his way in life and answers to his past.
Nowhere in Son of a Witch are we actually told that Liir is actually Elphaba, the witch's son, it is only implied.
Wicked and Son of a Witch differ in tone from The wizard of oz, as the wizard of Oz was intended for children, and wicked and son...
Advantages: Utterly convincing, very moving, superb acting. Disadvantages: Subtitles may annoy some people.
...I don't regularly go and see these "arty" movies - I just haven't ever felt the need to. So when I popped into my local art-house cinema, I was surprised to find myself loving this no frills movie. For anyone who is not used to these kind of movies, The Son's Room will be a great find and it's well worth forfeiting the blockbusters of the Hollywood mainstream to see this instead.

...The Son Blanc Apartments are located in Sa Caleta, not far from the old town of Ciutadella. It is split between a quiet road with standard sized rooms and standard self catering facilities. The Hotel staff are all excellent and the entertainment is provided by the tour operator and local entertainment companies.
Their are two pools situated on either side of the complex, but with the amount of apartments, the sunbeds are a struggle to find. A small shop is located on-site and a small commercial area is situated about 5-10minutes walk away with a few restaurants, bars and shops. One of the best restaurants on the island is about 20 minutes walk away, Sa Quadra (recommended). The beach is 5 mintues walk but is small. A regular bus service runs by the Son Blanc to take you to the old town of ciutadella. The resort is a quiet one, but dense...

Advantages: good lyrics, production from Eminem Disadvantages: few tracks which are not that good
...Nas returned in 2002 with Gods Son his 5th Studio album. This album was the follow up to the massive album ?Stillmatic?. Nas returns to his Illmatic days with this album and his raw lyrics to make this a brilliant album. With his lyrics it has old school beats and is very similar to Rakim.
Nas shows his maturity as a rapper as he raps about his mothers death. This is very good album and I highly recommend it.
1.Get Down ? A old school track, very up beat , Nas goes back to his original rap roots to pull this track out. Very good track 9/10
2. The Cross ? Produced by Eminem, My personal favourite, Very good beat one you can nod your head along too. 10/10
3. Made You Look ? Very good beat, lyrically it is very good. I recommend the remix with Jadakiss And Ludacris a much better track. 7/10

...Professor in his first year found George to quite bright and thought George learned life through people and the environment around him rather than being in library trying to perfect his paper on the British revolution of 1420.
The author gives father and son similarities for you to draw your own conclusions on why George W went into politics and at this point in the book I couldn't have cared less.
I have read other books on the President but this perhaps is one of the most long winded I have yet to encounter, granted it leaves no stone unturned in terms of information, times, dates, friends, family connection and even the type of car he drove but the book doesn't really fire the imagination in terms of literary flair.
The Houston Chronicle states "the book will be a dog-eared reference" perhaps for political analysts or journalists but...
Advantages: Wonderful performances from young stars, skilfully put-together, frequently amusing. Disadvantages: Sags in the middle, some under-developed strands.
...-of-the-eighties nostalgia, part coming of age story. Although Son of Rambow doesn't always appear sure of what kind of movie it wants to be, it's a thoroughly charming, richly evocative effort whose humour for the most part finds its mark. Charting the course of an unlikely friendship over a English summer, the film is a faintly dark comedy that recalls Rob Reiner's Stand by Me.
The creation of Garth Jennings and Nick Goldsmith (a.k.a. Hammer & Tongs, also responsible for 2004's disappointing Hitchhiker's Guide), the greater part of Son of Rambow's charm and success comes from its two charismatic young stars. Will (Bill Milner) is a wildly imaginative child who finds himself smothered somewhat by his family's strict religious beliefs, while Lee (Will Poulter) is the fairly prototypical misunderstood wild child of the pair's school.

Will Proudfoot is the son of a strict religious family, who previously hadn't allowed him to be exposed to popular music or movies, until he stumbled upon a pirated copy of the movie Rambo: First Blood, which a fellow pupil at the school he goes to, had recorded. This sets his imagination off and he starts to write his own Rambo related story in his notebook and the two boys, William and Lee Carter, set out to film a home video called 'Son of Rambow' during a summer holiday in the 1980s, with the hope of entering it into a BBC Screentest competition, thinking they might win the top prize.
