In order for most comedy to work, you need a funny man and a straight man. Here there is neither and unless you really love sight gags, there?s not much to laugh at. Especially if you?ve already seen the cartoons the script is stealing from; watching real people in cartoon slapstick situations isn?t anywhere near as much fun as watching cartoon characters in cartoon situations. Plus slapping some clumsy family values moralising on the end jars badly with the tone of the film. The acting throughout is as lacklustre as the script. God's Son is Ressurected...

Advantages: The Most Personal Nas album ever
Disadvantages: A few

...Nas took a humongous break but struck back hard with Stillmatic, which found Nas returning to his roots. Fans welcomed Nas back and awaited his next album, which was highly anticipated. Unfortunately, his parade was a bit torn down. Rumors circulated all around about Nas selling out and signing with commercial hip-hop label Murder Inc. Not to mention that his collaboration with Ja Rule and Ashanti didn't exactly help matters out. However, Nas proved everybody wrong with the release of God's Son, as we see Nas single-handedly bring his career from the depths and ressurect it like Jesus Christ himself. Advantages: Exciting, engaging and a brilliant end to a great saga.
Disadvantages: Not everyone will like the ending, but most will.

Review of Sons of Destiny - Darren Shan

SON OF A WITCH - The second novel in the Wicked Years series.

Advantages: Great story and portrayal of characters. Absorbing read, great for discussions.
Disadvantages: Story doesn't really make sense without reading wicked, poor readibility.

...of the weak points in Wicked. In Son of A witch, the characters were also portrayed very strongly, and at the end of the novel in particular, you were left feeling as if you personally knew Candle and Liir, evoking your own personal feelings at the end of the novel. The readibility of son of a witch, was in some places, weak, but in saying that, you did still feel, like you wanted to read on, knowing that there was some twist or turn just around the corner. Son of a Wich is comparable with little books out there, mainly because it is so good, but also because it is so good, The author effectively casts your imagination into a world of magic, which you don't want to leave. A down side to the novel would be that Story doesn't really make sense without reading wicked, and can be confusing. Son of a Witch and Wicked are great books that...

The Son's Room - A Film Review

Advantages: Utterly convincing, very moving, superb acting.
Disadvantages: Subtitles may annoy some people.

...I don't regularly go and see these "arty" movies - I just haven't ever felt the need to. So when I popped into my local art-house cinema, I was surprised to find myself loving this no frills movie. For anyone who is not used to these kind of movies, The Son's Room will be a great find and it's well worth forfeiting the blockbusters of the Hollywood mainstream to see this instead. Don't Get All Religious On Us

..."God' Son" came out in 2002, and it was the sixth album from the Queensbridge, New York rapper, Nas. It came directly off his future classic, "Stillmatic" and unfortunately soon after the death of his mother (who acted as inspiration to some of the work here. ...The Son Blanc Apartments are located in Sa Caleta, not far from the old town of Ciutadella. It is split between a quiet road with standard sized rooms and standard self catering facilities. The Hotel staff are all excellent and the entertainment is provided by the tour operator and local entertainment companies. Their are two pools situated on either side of the complex, but with the amount of apartments, the sunbeds are a struggle to find. A small shop is located on-site and a small commercial area is situated about 5-10minutes walk away with a few restaurants, bars and shops. One of the best restaurants on the island is about 20 minutes walk away, Sa Quadra (recommended). The beach is 5 mintues walk but is small. A regular bus service runs by the Son Blanc to take you to the old town of ciutadella. The resort is a quiet one, but dense...

...Nas returned in 2002 with Gods Son his 5th Studio album. This album was the follow up to the massive album ?Stillmatic?. Nas returns to his Illmatic days with this album and his raw lyrics to make this a brilliant album. With his lyrics it has old school beats and is very similar to Rakim. Nas shows his maturity as a rapper as he raps about his mothers death. This is very good album and I highly recommend it. 1.Get Down ? A old school track, very up beat , Nas goes back to his original rap roots to pull this track out. Very good track 9/10 2. The Cross ? Produced by Eminem, My personal favourite, Very good beat one you can nod your head along too. 10/10 3. Made You Look ? Very good beat, lyrically it is very good.
