Advantages: Excellent Image with 3CCD, Lightweight and Easy to Use
Disadvantages: Now obsolete due to High-Def 3CCD Camcorders

...with them. The DCR H1000E is no exception and used a superb lens which gives superb clarity to the images. And being able to focus manually is a great addition to this camera. Sometimes you really need that manual control for fast focussing (which autofocus cameras are not particularly good at) and also to add effects, because the point of focus may not be in the main part of the frame. The Zebra pattern is only of interest to quite serious photographers, and for those reading this it operates just as most others do and there is nothing exceptional about it. For those that want to know what it is I suggest looking for a reputable website or a good book, because its importance and use are beyond the scope of a review. The spot meter and spot focus are rather more for the serious types, but in a nutshell it gives you a much great control...

A Great System from Sony

Advantages: Nice Classy Design, Great Graphics, and a Good Online

Advantages: slick piece of hardware, great games, so much to do!

  Another 5 star Sony!

Advantages: Great functions, east to use, looks and feels good and produces great images.
Disadvantages: The kit lens isnt the best and no live view may bother some.

...For a while now I have been receiving private mails on both Dooyoo and on Ciao asking me to review the Sony A200 DSLR camera, this is because I have made mention of it in a few of my camera reviews lately but never actually got down to doing a full write up on it. Advantages: Best Entertainment System Avaliable, Region free games only
Disadvantages: 4GB file limitation External Storage, Cant read NTFS

...about this section is that it may be impressive now but soon it won't be as much, as computers are advancing rapidly now e.g. dual core, quad core games will be maybe 5 times better than the ps3 will be able to show. So if you are one of those people who wants to get the most they can from games then go with PC instead as it is easy to upgrade and games will continue to improve. The GPU was developed by NVIDIA and Sony, This graphics card is similar to NVIDIA 7800. This tells me that already the pc has a better graphics card than the PS3 as NVIDIA has released 8800 ULTRA and soon will be releasing 9 series. Just makes you wonder how long it will be before Sony decides to make you buy a PS4. My bet is within 3-4 years. So is it worth spending that much money on a PS3 is the life expectancy is not long? • Storage is important...

Advantages: Great features for low price, Great value for money
Disadvantages: Smaller range of Lenses than competitors

...noticeable and is not a big enough reason to shy away from the Canon entry range, discussed later. Images will be sharp with slightly more chromatic abrasion near the edges than normal but this can only be expected from a camera as cheap as this. Extra lenses are available from Sony as well as many other stockists usual to photography. These range from superb fisheye kits, all the way through the super-wide angles up to extra telephotos. The range is not as complete as longer established Nikon or Canon ranges but definitely fairs up well, also given that old Minolta lenses as well as most modern Tamron and sigma lenses come with the alpha mount. Competition Its competition includes Nikon D3000 and the Canon 1000D, although these cameras cost a lot more (£399.99.) They offer similar features and are essentially the same beginner...

...Sony's next generation console was well worth the wait from the Playstation 2. I have owned a PS3 for just over a year now and I have so far had no problems with it and to see the quality of the graphics of any game was incredible, and it was such a step up from the PS2. Although Sony was late in releasing the PS3, it was worth the wait in the end, although I did consider getting an Xbox 360 instead. The Xbox 360 came out much earlier and allowed microsoft the oppurtunity to get more Xbox 360's out there before the PS3 was even out. However there have been many reported problems with the Xbox 360, such as the console freezing, so I thought I best play it safe and instead get the PS3 when I had some money. The PS3 also offers more benefits over the Xbox 360, like free online play and less reported faults with the console in general...
